I looooove this! This is AWESOME for potty training. Its a must-have for us. It is, indeed, light and compact enough to carry in the diaper bag. Its not AS compact as those foldable seats, but this seat is even better because of the two functions. I have it in the diaper bag (in its plastic bag) ready to go with liners already on. Just the other day my daughter started peeing on the playground (ai yi yi), so I pulled this out sooo quickly, got her pants down, and she did the rest in the potty. BRILLIANT. Ive also used it for the toilet in a public bathroom for her, folding the legs out so she can sit on the big toilet comfortably. She HATES the noise in the bathrooms, so at least this eliminates her touching the seat, my trying to balance her, etc. The only con--which is very slight--is I thought the color was lavendar. Its more blue, not purple. Still a lovely shade, and no big deal since its *just* a potty.

After a week of potty training at home I knew I had to venture out and have my son sit on a public toilet. The potette fits perfectly on all the public toilets Ive tried it on but it does require some getting used to. My son just turned 2 and is small for his age but he fits fine on it but it took a few tries to get him seated properly so he doesnt pee all over the place. I thought I would use the seat as a travel potty for the car as well but I tried sitting my son on it as a toilet and he fell right through to the floor. Since he has been trained on a real toilet with a potty seat he just wasnt used to sitting so low to the ground with nothing to hold on to. While it has been a life saver in public places, it is a pain in the butt to carry around. We rarely use a stroller so its not an option to throw it in the basket underneath. And I was trying to get away from using a diaper bag anymore since my son is now potty trained. But this potty is just too large to fit in any purse that I own. So its back to carrying a diaper bag for now and hopefully I can teach my son to pee standing up soon :)

This little potty is great for travel. We go my oldest sons baseball games alot and sometimes the facilities are a far walk for toddler legs. But when they are close she will use it on the big potty. But the travel bag reminds of a patient belongings bag you get from the hospital wish they would have thought alittle better on bag. My toddler is now fully trained and she can get on the potty seat on her own.

I love this little potty. We potty trained our daughter at 14 months but only in a little potty (would not go if we hovered her over a normal toilet seat). We use the babybjorn potties at home and this one when we leave the house. it folds up so it fits in the diaper bag and comes with plastic carry bag. Just make sure you snap the legs in to lock if using it as a standalone porta potty - the first time I used it I didnt realize this and when she sat on the potty one of the legs folded in and she slid off to the side. Kinda funny to watch but scarred her and she was afraid to use it for a while. I have popped off a leg a few times when trying to unlock them to fold away - not a big deal just pop them back in. After we ran out of the liners we used a plastic grocery bag and no longer needed diapers. Ill use a paper towel once we run out of diapers. Love that when were traveling, she just sits on this little potty in the car or any flat surface and then we can just throw away a plastic bag. It is a little funny shaped so your child may have some difficulty balancing their tushy on it - but my daughter got used to it. Would recommend doing a few practice runs with it at home before taking it on the go when its an emergency.

This is convenient, super easy to clean, small profile-easy to keep in car but because of that small profile, it’s SUPER low to the ground. My toddlers knees were literally up in her chest and she wasn’t able to get a comfy position to go potty, longer legs -like extendable would be better. It also seems very uncomfortable for their butts but it’ll just be used for on the go until she’s comfortable with a big, public potty.

This potty is one of the best baby gear purchases Ive made. It has saved us many times when there was no toilet around to speak of. My daughter is 2 & we take it along to parks, playgrounds, festivals, etc. It stays in the car w/ extra bags & I just run her back to the car & use it right outside if its fairly private or pop her on the front seat floorboard. It works great. Occasionally Ive put it in my bag & brought it with me when were out at larger parks, beaches or festivals when we cant run back to the car quickly. It folds up surprisingly small & doesnt take up much room in my bag at all (I no longer use a diaper bag so I carry a fairly compact bag). We also bring it with us traveling as a potty topper so that she can use the potty comfortably wherever we go. Ive not found it too small or too big. Its not a real potty, its a portable one, so I dont have expectations of it to be perfect...just convenient & sturdy. I really cant imagine not having this now that my daughter is potty trained. My one small complaint is that when I use it as a potty & need to close it up to put it away, the legs will pop all the way off b/c of how the notches are. Its kind of annoying. I have to try to get it back in the right notch & it has pinched my finger once or twice. Ive gotten the hang of it now though so Im more careful about it. Thats really about it though. Its a great product! Ive surely helped sell lots of these b/c Ive convinced loads of my friends to buy it too! One other thing, I took the advice of other reviewers & just tape some paper towel to the bottom of grocery bags instead of buying their bags. It has worked perfect.

As a parent of two and older sister to 8 I have caught myself in many situations where there simply was no potty. With my youngest being a boy and most of my siblings being the same there was always the option of the tree. Then I started to experience the I have to go (poop) and cant hold it situations with my son. Along, came my daughter who of course cannot pee standing up and we were in for hell (we all know it doesnt really matter how many times you tell them to go before you leave). The first time I had my daughter pee in a cup in the car, or on the side of the road (same road trip), I knew there had to be a better option. She refused pull ups or to pee in her pants so instead it was an insistent scream that she had to go (If you would have heard it the cup would have been an option for you too). So I looked and looked and came across many options. Price wise this was my choice and I stuck gold. The liners are my favorite part they are like grocery bags with diapers built in to absorb pee without any splatter. This is also a no cleaning items as the bag covers the entire seat and you just through it away. As a bonus the seat can be used in the restroom as a cover ( I have yet to do this because I like the cleanliness of the potty with just the bags. Yes I have even used it in the bedroom with my son once when company was over and the bathroom was taken and we had an I have to go moment.

Oh my goodness this thing is genius. My 3 year old just potty trained and I wasn’t sure how we were going to do public toilets until a friend told me about this. It comes with a travel bag and folds up small enough to fit inside my diaper backpack. I unfold the legs and he uses it when we are on a public toilet. I love that the legs provide a handle for him to hold so he’s not touching a nasty toilet. I haven’t used it as a stand alone potty yet but the concept of being able to put a bag in it and then dispose of it is genius. It comes with three bags with padding on the bottoms but I would think you could double up on shopping bags after those run out ? I am recommending this to all my mom friends.

This seat is fantastic buy for anybody potty training. We keep it with us at all times when traveling, either in the car or in the diaper bag. When my daughter was too scared to use the big potties in public places (or at friends houses), I had this handy. I could set it on the floor in the restroom or on the floor of our van for her to use. When we were on long walks or car rides and a potty wasnt readily available, we had this handy. Now that she is more comfortable on the big potty, we keep it in the diaper bag to use on public toilets. It has helped her feel more comfortable sitting on them. It is small, and can seem awkward at first when they sit on it on the floor, but it has not been a problem for us at all. And despite its small size, it feels very sturdy either as a stand alone potty or as a seat on a big potty. We use it with the disposable bags that come with it. It has made our potty training journey so much easier!
