I have used many sound deadening materials before. And the cost is normally outrageous. What I got in this pack did exactly what I needed it to.

Great stuff. Easy to apply and was able to cut easily. Be careful when applying with your hands. I forgot how sharp the foil can get and sliced my finger.

For those looking for a good low-cost alternative to Dynamat, this is acceptable. I used both Dynamat and Kilmat on the same build. The Dynamat product was the Dynamat Xtreme. In contrast, the aluminum on the Kilmat is thinner and the butyl material smells A LOT like roofing felt... like EXACTLY like roofing felt -- definitely a bituminous odor. It is not overwhelming. I could only smell it with from about 2 away at normal temperatures By comparison the Dynamat Xtreme has ZERO odor. Nothing. The good thing about the Kilmat is that it sticks very quickly (used a heat gun to promote adhesion due to cooler outdoor temps but really did not need to) and the embossed aluminum makes it simple cut straight with one mark. Also, the packaging says it is made in the Russian Federation... so, those folks have a lot of experience silencing things so this will likely work very well. I just hope its not made out of Chernobyl chunks else my build will put a new meaning on the term radioactive.

Love this stuff, so much cheaper than dynamat and no difference in quality. Super easy to cut, easy to roll down(with the right rollers), molds amazingly well around anything, and deadening quality is awesome. No complaints what so ever. There’s a reason why it has thousands of good reviews. Also 50sq ft did my entire trunk even to sides and double layers on my trunk lid and still had a bunch leftover. My trunk is kinda small it’s a 2013 Cadillac ATS but considering how much I had leftover 50sqft will cover the biggest of trunks and I assume be able to double layer the main parts of the lid too. Even did my license plate!

2006 Dodge Charger Trunk Easy to install with the self adhesive. Use a roller to make sure its applied correctly. Live in Hawaii where its 85⁰ out. Went on easy, easy to cut, trim and mold around all the joints. Sound test after and the obnoxious rattle from the sub is gone. Used 1 box of the 50 sq ft 50mm Kilmat, completely covered the Trunk and 2 or 3 layers in trouble spots. Definitely going to be ordering more.

I almost went the poor mans way and bought Frost King Foam Duct Insulation, but then I saw this Kilmat sound deadening was about the same price as the Duct Insulation. Using prime, I ordered and received the package the same day. I found it was easier to work with this material with my bare hands as using gloves the adhesive stuck to the gloves making it difficult to install - once I took the gloves off it was much easier to work with the material. I also found it to be easier to use a good pair of scissors instead of a straight edge razor - the material is thin enough to use scissors. It was a cold day outside and when the temp dropped below about 42 degrees the kilmat material became much harder, so recommend installing on a day between 50-70 degrees outside. Also, the foil liner wasnt too sharp, I didnt have to worry too much about cutting myself using my bare hands. As far as it doing its job as a sound deadening material? I installed these in a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I can definitely tell a difference on the road noise, especially on the highway. Its probably a good 25% quieter, if not more. My doors feel heaver, have a nice THUNK when I shut them, and sound solid when I tap the doors with my knuckles. I replaced my speakers in my doors at the same time and I am very happy with the results - no rattles and great sound. I did two layers - one on the outside panel and one on the inside panel - maybe overkill, but I received 50 square feet, which was enough to do all four of my doors doing double layers. This is A+ material.

Very impressed with the performance of this mat, especially for the price. I installed it on the floor and rear of the cab on a 2006 F350 6.0 Powerstroke. I still havent finished the job but Ive heard enough to rate the product. I plan on doing the doors and ceiling tomorrow. I started the truck just now. This is without the factory carpet and pad installed. Without the boot on the floor shifter. Without the seat installed. The cab noise has been significantly reduced. Night and day difference. This is the most affordable mat I could find and absolutely will be buying more for two other vehicle projects I have.
