KILMAT 50 mil 50 sqft Car Sound Deadening Mat, Butyl Automotive Sound Deadener, Audio Noise Insulation and dampening

I ordered 4 boxes for a total of 200 sq ft. I still have half a box left after covering the inside of my entire van with 2 layers. Its heavy but really high quality especially for the price.

I really like this product, it was super easy to lay out and trim to fit pieces where full sheets wouldnt fit. I could of taken more time and fit it a Bit better but in less than 30 minutes I did the entire floor of a 06 crew cab gmc 2500hd. I have not driven yet for noise test but just tapping on the floor you can instantly tell it will be helpful. My factory mass backing had water damage so I liked this for noise reduction and getting rid of the padding.

Was super easy to install, once you get one done you get a rhythm going and you’re off to the races. Installed on my Jeep Wrangler to go under my Goose Gear platform so that it further insulated and allows for better noise quality

I have never used sound deadening mats, but I customize my cars A LOT. The price of this product is way lower than the leading brands but the quality is fantastic. I thought I would be getting a lower quality alternative- side by side it looks and feels like the big name brands. You will notice how heavy the stuff is from the box, which wasnt light nor fluffy. I especially liked the grid system for easy and precise cutting on the foil side. Once I measured and cut, install was a breeze. In fact, I had to re position a few pieces, the glue had no problem adhering even with a couple of times off and on. I did the door panels on my Tesla, which was already pretty quiet. It seems quieter but unfortunately that is seat of the pants, not scientific. I didnt take before and after readings. I did put some behind the speaker in my Ram truck and sound DEFINITELY comes out louder than before, with less loss behind the speaker. 50 square feet is more than enough to do a vehicle completely. The instructions recommend using gloves- I didnt and found no ill effects or reduced adhesion.

This stuff is legit. Just as good as the big box names and a fraction of the cost. Goes on easy. Smoothes put nicely and quick. Very easy to work with does what it says it does. One box goes a long way while doing a jeep wrangler. Only used about a quarter of the box so far and have gotten the rear cargo area floor done and the passenger front floor pan. Highly recommended. Just be sure to get the three size install rollers and it will make your life easier.

Love this stuff, so much cheaper than dynamat and no difference in quality. Super easy to cut, easy to roll down(with the right rollers), molds amazingly well around anything, and deadening quality is awesome. No complaints what so ever. There’s a reason why it has thousands of good reviews. Also 50sq ft did my entire trunk even to sides and double layers on my trunk lid and still had a bunch leftover. My trunk is kinda small it’s a 2013 Cadillac ATS but considering how much I had leftover 50sqft will cover the biggest of trunks and I assume be able to double layer the main parts of the lid too. Even did my license plate!

It works well

This product is very easy to install and adheres very well. My car has about 1/2 the road noise it did before. Its also one of the least expensive products that actually does what it says. Very happy with the purchase.
