The Adhesion works very good. The noise canceling I would say has dropped the decimals being picked up from outside of the car and I would say holds in more bass. It’s almost like insulating your car lol, this item requires you to take most of the interior out of your car to install this item. Overall rating 5/5 I would highly recommend this item for noise cancellation.

1993 gmc yukon 2 door interior refresh project. 2 boxes of this product will get you the roof, side panels and 90% of the passenger cabin. Kilmat estimates 130 sqft for this project so they are pretty close. Ill buy another box to finish, then cover it with Noico 315mm closed cell foam sheets. This will be so much quieter and warmer in the Montana winters! Pointers: scrub the surfaces then go over with an alcohol rag then a tack cloth. Make sure its really clean. After laying down a sheet use a roller to really smash this stuff into the seams. No really, go over it again until all the little squares have been smoothed out. If you want, mommas rolling pin will work for the big areas. Next I suggest laying closed cell foam over the top. This will increase the sound deadening and help keep your car comfortable.

Love this stuff, so much cheaper than dynamat and no difference in quality. Super easy to cut, easy to roll down(with the right rollers), molds amazingly well around anything, and deadening quality is awesome. No complaints what so ever. There’s a reason why it has thousands of good reviews. Also 50sq ft did my entire trunk even to sides and double layers on my trunk lid and still had a bunch leftover. My trunk is kinda small it’s a 2013 Cadillac ATS but considering how much I had leftover 50sqft will cover the biggest of trunks and I assume be able to double layer the main parts of the lid too. Even did my license plate!

I went to best buy and got 12SQFT for 100 dollars, then looked on amazon and found 50SQFT for 60 bucks, are you kidding me, this is why brick and mortar stores are going out of business. I didnt have to skimp at all on coverage because i had so much product. It also easily attached where i needed it, but also was able to be shifted around as long as you didnt press it down all the way. I did get a roller set for the professional look. So far I have done all 4 doors of my Jeep Liberty and added 3 sheets to the floor under the driver and passengers feet. AMAZING. it cut down on the road noise and wind noise, also cut out some random vibrations. AND THE SOUND! My stock speakers sound brand new, high highs and low lows. Worth every penny and the hard work to get it in. 10 / 10

Ive bought this twice now for two separate restore jobs. Its pretty easy to apply to the metal. Its pretty easy to position where you want it and then cut out the areas for the seat bolts and seat belt bolts. If you prewire the stereo wires to the back, this stuff will also cover up those wires pretty well. buying the roller was a waste of money. I stopped using it and just used my hand to press this stuff down since the floor of the truck isnt smooth and the back is that shiny slick foil stuff. I also noticed that when I had small areas of over lap, like when I was setting in an inside corner with two pieces, if you press a little harder you can hardly tell its double thick-just in case youre wondering if it could make the carpet bulge a bit, it doesnt.

I used this material to line the cab of my RV. Cab noise was so loud before installing this, that trying to listen to the radio was pointless. Pulled up my carpeting, and installed these sheets on floors, inside the doors and inside the dog-house, and what a difference. The RV cab stays comfortably cool, no more hot foot on the passenger side. The road noise is markedly improved, and we can carry on a conversation without having to shout over the motor. Would highly recommend this product. Very easy to use and definitely worth it if you want to improve a hot, noisy area in your vehicle.

Supper easy to work with. I laid them on my driveway. So they can heat up with the sun. That makes it even more easy to install it. I didn’t like the roller I used a handle of a screwdriver. That helps out a lot for the thought corners. I have a 89 c1500 and the cab sounds solid now.I used a box and half for the entire cab. Ceiling, floor, under rear window, fire wall I did double the one on the floor.

I insultate the entire interior of my vintage VW Bus while restoring it and fell in love with this stuff. Easy to cut to size, GREAT adhesion and noise dampening. One NOTE.... It is REALLY important to wipe down the paint surface with a quality Wax and Grease Remover before you apply this product to ensure that it will stick well and permanently. Go Slo, Measure and cut carefully, clean, and apply, then use a separate specialty Seam tape to seal all the seams between pieces. Have Fun!!

I upgraded my radio in my 18 Ram Quad Cab. This is one noisy pickup. A lot of sound from the 6x9s was just being canceled out and over powered by the road noise. This makes the treble really harsh and piercing. I could barely get the eq to make up for the noise. I used 38 of 47 sheets on the doors of kilmat. The difference is night and day. The doors feel more solid. They are heftier. The noise reduction is enormously significant. The harshness to my music is gone and the mids and lows are very pronounced now. Ill use the other 9 sheets to put under the carpet where the downward firing sub is and the rest under the carpet of the front seats. Great product with a better value compared to other brands.
