> 3 dayIt is not entirely a pain relief. I don’t understand how it’s pain relief as I didn’t have any change on pain. However it’s a prevented product that avoid sudden pulls etc. also Paid $11.50 less than one month ago. Now $15.50. Nearly 40% increase in a month made me not to order this product anymore!

> 3 dayMy daughter needs this tape daily as she has subluxing shoulders, but her skin is constantly irritated, marked up, and itchy when she removes it. I want to rate it high as it does it’s job, but note the problem with removal.

Greater than one weekAbout six years ago I was having problems with my plantar fasciitis and my pt recommended KT tape. I watched YouTube videos, bought some on Amazon, used it and it really helped. Recently Ive been having problems again. I bought some more. It doesnt stick like it used to. I used to wear it through showers, for a couple days. Now I put it on at night and its loose by the morning. It wont last through a shower at all. I shower at night, scrub my feet clean so its going on a completely clean surface. It helps, but where it used to last at least 3 days now it lasts 6 hours at most.

> 3 dayThis product works. I have runners knee on my right, and a bone contusion on my left and it helped with the pain! I purchased this tape to avoid using knee braces after my specialist recommended it. So far it’s helped with supporting my knees and relieving pain. I must admit that once in awhile I still get sudden shocks of pain with the tape on, which is to be expected hence my 5 star rating regardless. Nothing can be perfect. Anyway, it took me awhile to realize but you have to RUB THE TAPE once it’s on your skin so that it sticks properly. Rub it a good ~35seconds but not back and forth, rub it STRICTLY one direction. Otherwise you’re risking the tape peeling off from the edges. Then you have to wait a couple hours before you can do any vigorous activity or else the tape starts wrinkling real bad. Trust me I’m taking with experience. The tape sticks alright in water but it takes its time with drying. Peeling off the tape is surprisingly easy if you don’t rub it in. I am yet to find out how easy it is after actually rubbing it in. If you need 5inch strips from the 10inch just cut it in half and CURVE THE EDGES! If you don’t then the corners will peel. I recommend shaving the area where the tape will be placed because it hurts when it tugs the hairs.

> 3 dayIm left handed and Ive torn my left rotator twice, along with my bicep. To get added support, I bought the KT tape. My thoughts were that with Kerri Walsh being a sponsor, it must be good stuff and Im not overjoyed with it. I had a hard time with this and wasted 5 of the 20 strips trying to get it to stick. To place it for rotator support, its very difficult to place yourself and the tape has a tendency to slingshot back when trying to apply it. It sticks to itself great but it didnt stick well to my skin. Because I paid $15 for the roll, Ill use what I have left, as best I can but I wont rebuy this brand. ** UPDATE 10-08-2017 ** KT immediately contacted me after my review was published and as you can see from their response, offered tips and tricks. Additionally, they offered to replace the roll at no charge. I gladly took them up on this offer and they shipped the replacement roll, free of charge, immediately. The tips and tricks did help but I still have trouble getting this on myself (because of my injury location), but its no fault of KT. My suggestion to you is that if you have a rotator cuff injury that youre trying to support, have someone else put the tape on for you. The instructions inside the package will also give you a picture of how to apply it correctly for that particular injury location. ** Update 2 *** It will help you out tremendously if you buy some alcohol prep pads, which are very inexpensive. Ive found that by wiping down the area with a prep pad and letting it dry, before I apply the KT tape, makes a huge difference. The tape seems to go on better and adhere to the skin better, in addition to easier removal when youre read to take it off. ** Update 3 ** Ive updated my review to a 5 star rating. I dont know if KT has improved the adhesive on their product or if the big difference was made by me learning to apply it correctly. Whatever the situation, this stuff REALLY sticks. Before I apply it, I just pour some alcohol on a paper towel and wipe down the area thoroughly, before letting it dry or wiping it down with another paper towel. Theres no danger of this stuff coming off and Id suggest when you remove it, that you do so in the shower. If you pull it too quickly - like a band-aid, youre gonna pull skin. In my opinion, the precut strips are the way to go and heres a tip: When you start to put them on, peel the backing back only about one inch. This will allow you to get it started without it flopping back and sticking it on itself or on your hands and from there, just slowly remove the backing as you move along the area that youre applying it too. Once Ive started it, I just hold the backing tape with my thumb and index finger and Im moving it along my arm and shoulder. When you get the technique down, its easy to apply yourself (unless youre putting it on your back). KT Tape has been a tremendous help to me. Ive reordered three times and will continue to do so in the future.
