Kwikset Halifax, Door Handle Lever Passage Door for Hall and Closet with Microban, Square Rose in Matte Black

I really love these door handles. They are inexpensive but look luxe. One question is that my handyman installed them on 2 doors to test. When I open the door handle on one end, the handle lever on the other side also moves too. I realized my other door handles dont do that. Is there something in installation to fix so only the handle you move is the one that moves, not the opposite side lever too? Thanks!

Looks stunning and nice large handle

The install is easy but the latch does not catch . Can simply push it , wind could push door . Not worth 50 bucks

Great handle. I’ve tried the $100+ Emtek ones (which I wanted) and the cheaper generic brand ones on here that look the same (mechanically they’re not) and ended with with this. For $35ish. It’s near Emtek’s quality and way superior to the cheap handles on here. The cheap ones feel the same, but when you go to open the door from the back side, it doesn’t actually start opening the latch for about 1/3 the turn, which makes it feel cheap and poorly made. They do look just as good tho. I’m not a fan of how the screws are visible when there are cheaper handles with a plate that hides them, but they aren’t so bad and the ones with the plate to hide are a bit of a hassle to remove if you ever need.

I’m obsessed!! I got the Halifax ones and they are beautiful, sleek, super modern and they feel SO sturdy! They make our doors feel expensive. We want to eventually get new doors and black hinges, but we are SO glad we decided to go ahead and get these door hardware! They are also super easy to install. I installed them so fast. When my husband realized I was installing them, I was pretty much done. Lol!

The handle looks nice and fits nice however the inside handle fell off after only three months of regular use..seems that the screw securing the handle fell out and off course is no where to be found so I will have to change it if I cant find a screw somewhere..

Good, solid product, but much more difficult to open the door compared to the previous batch.
