> 3 dayThe Lasko floor fan is an impressive piece of machinery, boasting some seriously powerful fan speeds. Even on the lowest setting, this fan is able to circulate air with impressive efficiency, making it a great choice for anyone looking to cool down a room quickly. But where the Lasko really shines is in its higher fan settings. When cranked up to its top speed, this fan can really move some air, creating a refreshing and revitalizing breeze that can help keep you comfortable even on the hottest days. Whether youre looking to cool down a stuffy room or simply need a little extra air circulation, the Lasko floor fan is an excellent choice that wont disappoint.

> 3 dayBought to replace old floor fan same size. Thought would be very powerful for cooling the house. The motor just not as powerful as older models. High on this model is like a cross between low and medium compared to old model. Other than that good fan.

> 3 dayVery strong, but makes a noise that varies in db/frequency on 2 out of the settings, so it becomes and extreme nuisance. I ordered two times to see if it was the unit or model, and both had the same problem

> 3 dayUPDATE!!! Its been 3 years and this thing is still going strong. Quality fan that delivers. UPDATE AGAIN: After 3 1/2 yrs of use I thought the motor was giving out as the blades were slowly turning, squeking noise, and sometimes would not turn at all. Guess what? The fan is still working great I just had to do a little cleaning maintenance, behind the blades where the motor housing is, in between the motor housing and the blades I found string and hair wrapped around the bolt. I removed all of that stuff with a tweezer but still found myself with the blades turning slowly. Finally I add some rust resistance spray in between the motor housing and the blade, the fan is working as good as new. WOW, WOW, and WOW! I read previous reviews that made me decide to get this one; oh man this fan is unbelievable. I accidentally flipped it to speed 3 when I went to turn it on for the first time my cat jumped half across the room and my papers started flying everywhere like I was in a windstorm; this fan literally sounds like a jet engine on speed 3 probably the reason why my cat jumped half across the room besides the powerful wind release. Yes its loud but it doesnt bother me as I can always wear my wireless headphones if I need to watch my movies plus the sound would probably put me right to sleep. I have had numerous fans before (over 10) but I have never come across a fan as powerful as this one. Even on the lowest speed it blows out more wind then any of my previous fans. Unlike the plastic models that break this design is metal and it is built to withstand the powerful wind in which it does not shake. Once again I cant believe a fan like this can put out so much wind. If you are looking for a fan that can disperse incredible wind and noise is not an issue for you then this fan is for you. Thanks to all the ones who reviewed this product before me as it really helped me decide to purchase this one. UPDATE: I purchased this in March it is now almost December, still blowing strong. Some days I wish it had 1 more lower level selection because it does give out a lot of wind even on the lowest selection . UPDATE: 2 YEAR AND 5 MONTHS of use and still going strong. Most days this fan has been on for an average of 16 hours. TIP: Make sure to clean this every once and a while. Make sure to unplug it, remove the cover and clean the fan blades, the back of the fan grill and front. Dust collects on this and by cleaning it, it will make a world of difference on the wind output.

> 3 dayJust received this fan today. I was super excited b/c my upstairs get so hot. I thought this fan would be great to move the hot air around. The fan itself is very durable. Blades are metal. The fan has 3 settings. Blows great air. It would be better for outside, basement or factory use. 1. Assembly was easy, no tools required. 2. Blade and cage came already put together. 3. Plugged in and started using it under 5 minutes. All that being said, THIS FAN IS SO LOUD! IT ALSO MAKES LITTLE SIREN NOISES INTERMITTENTLY. Unfortunately, I will be returning this fan because the noise is loud.

> 3 dayThis fan is powerful. It’s more than a fan. I was really happy the day I got it, because it would be serving as both white noise and circulation for my 400 sq ft room. The circulation is amazing. Like a soft breeze keeping me cool. It’s a quality fan, and it’s not small. The white noise aspect is what turned me off. I thought I heard some humming on the lower setting, but I was fine to be patient with that, maybe it needed to shift into place after being in the mail. And that wasn’t what got me. Last night (3 night into owning the fan), it was too loud in the lowest setting. I think my 25 year old self would have loved the noise level, but at almost 40, it felt like the fan was screaming at me, and it woke me up. It has a loudness that kind of exceeds white noise levels, is the only way I can explain it. I think this is better suited for actual circulation purposes and not white noise for sleeping. I’m getting a tower fan and a white noise machine instead. My days of 2-for-1 are over, I guess

> 3 dayHigh velocity fan that cancels out other noise. I must have a fan to sleep both for the air movement and the white noise. Before sleeping with fans Id hear everything in the house as if I was awake. Years ago I noticed I could sleep well at my friends house when her fan was going. I got myself a vintage fan from the 70s I think that was a baby blue box fan. It was very powerful! I was spoiled by that. After years of using it every night it just quit on me around 3 a.m. after about 20 minutes I decided Id better go give another fan I wasnt going to sleep anymore that night. I drove to a 24-hour store and grabbed the most powerful looking fan I could find. It was a Lasko that cost me $50 and it was extremely disappointing. I started searching the internet for vintage fans after that and high velocity fans. I almost drove 3 hours to get the same fan I had previously owned that died on me. This family is powerful so if thats not what youre looking for are you cant handle a little bit of white noise this may not be for you. Perhaps for some it would be too loud. If a little bit of wind noise from a high velocity fan doesnt bother you and you want something powerful this for you. After being disappointed with my Lasko I was afraid of making a bad choice again. I am not at all disappointed with this fan. It is exactly what I was looking for. Capable of moving lots of air are you canceling noise. I bought one for my room and my upstairs which is just one giant room. Im very satisfied.
