These rope lights are replacing some old type rope lights on our fence. They are very bright, have the fasteners with them and can be cut, if needed. They offer customer support for questions on installing. I would highly recommend them .

Great for the price! Just what we needed to brighten up our old deck. The lights are very bright and powerful enough to illuminate almost our entire backyard. We cut the strip into 2 parts per the instructions and it was really easy. Screws were a bit tiny but nevertheless easy to install. Not sure yet how they’ll perform with rain as it’s still summer time but hoping for the best! Highly recommend!

I brought 3 and 1 out of them The led chips have gone out but even with those out their still very bright.

This is not a rope light, this is a tape light, Flat sided. I was looking to replace my years old rope light that had started being dim and already had all the hooks in place to do so. I went ahead and installed this light using them anyway even though therye a bit big for it. The clips they send with it will entail being mounted with the supplied screws, a much more tideous process. The lights are super bright so I would suggest getting a dimmer to plug them into. Luckily I already had that from my previous ones. Hopefully these will last as long as my old set did, time will tell

I was disappointed at first by how small around they were as I had tracks up to keep them straight. However, I was able to use the tracks with a little adjustment, and they look really great. Exactly what I wanted.

These were to replace old rope lights round a palm tree that had burned out. Even tho these are ‘strip’ rather than ‘rope’ they are still fully encased in PVA - not like the adhesive indoor LED strips. BUT - as a result the lights are only viewable from ONE SIDE not all round like rope lights. They’re also brighter (and less warm white) than I anticipated but they usually either dim with time or as the PVA casing clouds over from UV instability. Generally very happy with purchase !

Got these to replace an old set of rope lights that we dying. First of all, this is not a rope light, it is a flat strip of lights. I had to remove all my old clasps and install these. Each clasp requires two screws so it takes a while to install. When they first turned on, they were BRIGHT. Like so bright we were (jokingly) afraid planes might mistake our back yard for a landing strip. They were really too bright for our purposes but they looked great. I got back on Amazon and ordered a Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Outdoor dimmer and turned them down to 50%. Now theyre perfect. If you want them to actually light an area up, theyre perfect as they are. If you just want accent lighting, youll need to get a dimmer. As long as these last two years I will be very happy with these lights.
