I ran this on the back of shelves in my basement bar and it lights up the bottles, it looks and works great.

These were to replace old rope lights round a palm tree that had burned out. Even tho these are ‘strip’ rather than ‘rope’ they are still fully encased in PVA - not like the adhesive indoor LED strips. BUT - as a result the lights are only viewable from ONE SIDE not all round like rope lights. They’re also brighter (and less warm white) than I anticipated but they usually either dim with time or as the PVA casing clouds over from UV instability. Generally very happy with purchase !

Great lights very bright and easy to install. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is a small area about 2 inches long stopped working on lights. We are still enjoying them !

These lights are BRIGHT! They also appear to be longer then the round rope lights they replaced, but its an optical illusion. They are flat and even though they were rolled up, they were flat right out of the box. I didnt have to unwind them and leave them be for a few days like I normally do with standard rope lights. They are super easy to hang, they are very light weight, and they are bright! I can see the glow before I see my house! I have them on a wrap around porch and they are up so that they are facing towards the house, not out from it. I wanted the porch to be well lit. I am thinking about trying them so they are facing the drive. With as bright as these are, I think I will still have a well lit porch. As soon as I can figure out how to do it, I will post pictures and update this review. If you want a lot of light, these are perfect. If you want a more subtle light, then these arent the ones you want.

Probably my fault because I ordered the wrong ones I should’ve ordered the lighter white soft white but we put a border around it on our front porch with some wood and it turned down so they’re working just fine for us

These are beautiful, SUPER BRIGHT, VERY WHITE lights. I put them all over the rail of my back deck, and in the dead of night, it still looks like daybreak. I leave my lights out 365 days a year - these have been out about 4 months now, and are just as bright now as they were. 3 issues which I didnt find actually mattered regarding the function of the lights: 1) DO NOT TURN THEM ON WHILE STILL WOUND UP. They get VERY HOT! (Once up, they are fine.) 2) The included screws for the brackets are too short to actually use. 3) The sleeves the cover the junctions between ropes do not tighten down tightly. They essentially just cover, not lock in place.

Really good product. Easy to I stall. Very pliable and easy to work around corners. Because its more like tape flat than round rope, its has a cleaner look. I too bought the wifi dimmer to to e down the brightness. Also, very easy to cut and cap off so you have an exact fit to the project.

Great for the price! Just what we needed to brighten up our old deck. The lights are very bright and powerful enough to illuminate almost our entire backyard. We cut the strip into 2 parts per the instructions and it was really easy. Screws were a bit tiny but nevertheless easy to install. Not sure yet how they’ll perform with rain as it’s still summer time but hoping for the best! Highly recommend!

So these lights were great but they are really, really bright. I live in a high rise and several people complained about the balcony lights being too bright and honestly they are. Wish they had a dimmer:-(
