Lights are as expected

These lights are VERY bright. They are very nice; however, they are way too bright for use on our back deck. ((I cant imagine they would be good in a bedroom either)). ((These lights are also in a square shape strand, vs. a traditional round rope strand.))

I strung my light rope, spiraling, around the flag ropes supporting my 8 foot wide, 12 foot long flag (suspended between two trees). Well, at one point some lights went off, but this was entirely my own fault… I had re-tightened the flag rope, not realizing it overstressed the light rope because I had not left enough slack. However, dismantling this, and re-stringing it, the light rope recovered and lit again, and hasn’t been a problem since. This amounts to a stress test… and this light rope passed very well… impressive! So I bought more! It has my endorsement (but don’t do what I did!!)

These are beautiful, SUPER BRIGHT, VERY WHITE lights. I put them all over the rail of my back deck, and in the dead of night, it still looks like daybreak. I leave my lights out 365 days a year - these have been out about 4 months now, and are just as bright now as they were. 3 issues which I didnt find actually mattered regarding the function of the lights: 1) DO NOT TURN THEM ON WHILE STILL WOUND UP. They get VERY HOT! (Once up, they are fine.) 2) The included screws for the brackets are too short to actually use. 3) The sleeves the cover the junctions between ropes do not tighten down tightly. They essentially just cover, not lock in place.

Probably my fault because I ordered the wrong ones I should’ve ordered the lighter white soft white but we put a border around it on our front porch with some wood and it turned down so they’re working just fine for us

Actually love the lights. We put them around our deck on a timer after dusk. My problem is it only lasted 7 months. UPDATE I’m updating my review and changing my overall rating. After speaking with Customer Service and sending a picture of the problem area, I was given some suggestions as to what the problem might have been with a solution for it not happening again. They sent me a new set. Awesome customer service

These rope lights are replacing some old type rope lights on our fence. They are very bright, have the fasteners with them and can be cut, if needed. They offer customer support for questions on installing. I would highly recommend them .

I just installed 125 feet of the blue lights in my deck and they look great. Super super bright, almost too much but I think we will adjust. I sealed all connections and the plug well with the included glue and I also bought waterproof tape so I’m hoping to get several years out of these. They cut easily as I had 3 50 foot strands, I cut the last one at about 25 feet and sealed it up. With the additional 25 feet I was able to attach the extra plug and it works perfectly as well. We’ve had lights on our deck for 20 years since we’ve lived here and I think this may be the 4th time I’ve had to replace them, which is a pain in the rear, so I’m hoping for several years of enjoyment. So far, so good. I’ll update if I encounter problems but as of now I recommend them.

I had someone install these lights which were supposed to be soft white. As you can see from the pictures, they are considerably brighter than my original.
