Lights were relatively easy to install and a good brightness level when clustered together. Install was in an outdoor jasmine arbor, on a three hour timer that brought the lights on at dusk. Light string completely stopped working after several months. Could be water intrusion or other issues. Now we need to unwind it from the arbor and get a new string. YMMV.

I have used these lights since last fall and they are still working perfectly. This rope light was easy to install and is attached to a mechanical timer. If you use a dusk to dawn then you might have issues since they are so bright. They will turn off if the sensor is too close and might require a short extension cord to get the sensor further away.

I have installed quite a few light strip and went up very smoothly. The only thing I would change is the number of plastic clips that come in the package. To get a tight clean line you need to put a clip about every 8 inches and you only have enough clips for about 25 feet.

We used these LED lights on our screened porch. As mentioned in other reviews, they are very bright so we purchased an Otronics 800W Outdoor Wireless Remote Control Dimmer. Now, the lowest setting does a great job of providing enough light to watch outdoor movies while the brightest setting allows us to read a book when its dark outside - all with the press of a button. Other reviews have said the seller recommends not using with a dimmer so we wrote customer service, didnt get an answer to the question so we took a chance on the combination of these products. So far, they are working well and doing exactly what we intended.

Weve had the lights 11 months. Really like the way they light up the yard. Last week a section went out. The warranty says 50,000 hrs. We only run them 1-2 hours a week. When we tried to to find out warrarty information, Amazon says to contact seller. Trying to find the seller information is next to impossible. When you serach for the seller info it points to Amazon.

We bought these to go around our deck. Well, when youre walking towards the house from the driveway they will blind you. Its now dangerous walking towards the deck to step up. As you can see, you cannot even see the deck above the lights to make the step. Were going to have to take them down. I dont think theres another place that we can actually use them. I dont want to blind the neighbors either.

Bright, flexible, looks nice. They don’t tell you the exact dimension! They mention diameter but the cross section is not a circle, but a rectangle!! It’s flat with four sides. I think I read somewhere (wasn’t easy to find)width is 12mm, but don’t know what the height is. It appears to be 10-12 mm. Why does it matter? Two aluminum channels I bought to hide the lights and get a diffuse lighting didn’t fit. Their channel depth is 8mm which seems standard but is too low for this product so after I put the light strip in, the plastic cap of the channel doesn’t really fit. Bummer. Unless I can find another channel that fits I will return this product.

The lights arrived in a timely manner. They were easy to put into place. The lights are absolutely perfect!! They provide just the right amount of subtle lighting on my new deck. I plan to order some now for my front porch.

I just installed 125 feet of the blue lights in my deck and they look great. Super super bright, almost too much but I think we will adjust. I sealed all connections and the plug well with the included glue and I also bought waterproof tape so I’m hoping to get several years out of these. They cut easily as I had 3 50 foot strands, I cut the last one at about 25 feet and sealed it up. With the additional 25 feet I was able to attach the extra plug and it works perfectly as well. We’ve had lights on our deck for 20 years since we’ve lived here and I think this may be the 4th time I’ve had to replace them, which is a pain in the rear, so I’m hoping for several years of enjoyment. So far, so good. I’ll update if I encounter problems but as of now I recommend them.

Nothing to dislike. only one minimal issue... need more info about power consumption. I will recommend.
