> 3 dayI have a rare condition that has caused me to dearly value this product. I initially bought it to help me see things up close, as my cataracts became worse. When I had one cataract removed, the Dr. damaged the lens sack so as not to allow a replacement lens to be installed. So I have one eye that still has a bad cataract and is useless; and I have one eye without a lens. The lensless eye is very blurry and I cant see with any definition. Im legally blind, awating some heart work before correcting the eye situation. NOW THE PURPOSE of this narrative is to offer help to any others with my problem! One day as I sat working at my computer, wih my magnifier pressed against my lensless eye to see my monitor, I listened to a TV news program across the room (about 6), I heard a news alert and automatically turned my head (with the magnifier still presssed to my face) toward the TV, AND I could see the TV screen very clearly (great definition)! Then I found out that I could see clearly at greater distances (like down a long street) Hallelujah!! Of course the lens is only a few inches in diameter, but you can move your head from side to side to get a panoramic view. This has given me great relief as, without this device I would be more severely handicapped and depressed. Normal sighted people would have no way to discover this power, so its important to make this info known. In fact, the manufacturer/seller should make it known as a use. Only negative I have to say is that the light switch fails after a lot of use and I tried cleaning my 1st magnifiers lens with eyelass lens cleaner and damaged the lens, so I bought a 2nd unit, and eventually the switch became really flaky so I bought a 3rd unit. These positives of this product far ouyweigh the negatives. ...also, price is good! Hope this helps someone out there! Regards, Arizona Bill

> 3 dayThis magnifying glass is just what I need! Finally I can read the “tiny” print on labels without straining my eyes or just giving up and hoping that I didn’t miss some important information! Just one drawback, it is a TAD heavy! Otherwise I am very happy with this purchase.
