These are really nice lights. They arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. I had them installed in my kitchen which only had three pendant lights. What a difference these made, I can see everything so much better now. They are a great price too. Definitely recommend.

Im using these 4 lights to replace all the mismatched, flush mount hall and closet lights throughout our house. And for that, they are awesome! As long as someone didnt go crazy cutting drywall, these 4 round recessed lights will drop straight into a cutout meant for a 4 round electrical box. I know that should be obvious, but sometimes the simple things just make me happy. Install is simple for me, remove old light fixture, remove electrical box, connect wires inside junction box, insert light. Thats it. Unfortunately, none of these recessed lights seem to come with wire grommets for the knock outs in the junction box. I would advise getting some grommets so the wire doesnt rub on the edge of the metal box; these boxes use 22mm or 7/8 knock outs. Other than that, these lights are great. The adjustable light temperature makes them easy to match to the room usage; bedrooms are warmer, utility areas are cooler. At less than $10 per light, this is great and inexpensive way to improve the look and function of your house.

We wanted to upgrade a guest suite and installing these lights gave it the additional wow factor we wanted. The halo night lights are very, very cool, all without needing an app. We are no handy with electrical stuff, so we had an electrician install them for us. Electrician had no issues with them. One thing we noticed is that especially with the halo night light effect, any flaws or dirt even, in your ceiling seem that much more glaring. Luckily, the room where these went into just go scraped and painted top to bottom. All in all very nice set of lights. Well see about installing them in other parts of the house.

I already own other pancake style lights like this, but this is so much better. As for the brightness, it is about the same as other 12W lights. When it is used with other lights with the same temperature settings, it does blend well. I cant tell the difference, so I have no problem with using this as additions to my existing lights. The feature I like the most about this, which differentiate from other pancake style lights, is its night light feature. It doesnt consume a lot of electricity (3W) and it is very easy to operate. One thing to note is that the night light could be bright for some people if you have 5 lights with the night light mode. I installed it in a separate switch, so I can control it when I want to use it with the night light mode. You just have to know how you want to use them.

I would recommend these. They seem to be identical to the ones you buy in the box stores. Can light hardware has come a long way from actually having to install housings and layout out based on the joists above. These haev the segregated junction box and the light itself fits in the space of the drywall. This version of a can light will cost you north of $20 a light in the box stores. They seem to be bright and dont have a flicker. Only time will tell regarding durability.

These lights are absolutely incredible! The slim profile is so convenient and makes installation remarkably easy. No need to worry about location of joists/beams because the slim lights will fit anywhere. Each light has a junction box with pre-installed wire clips…it is as simple as sliding the electrical wire into the corresponding clip (black, white, green). You can simply run wire from one light to the next and string them together on one line. What makes these lights extra special is the nightlight feature. By simply flipping the switch on you turn the downlight on, turn the switch off and back on, and you change the light to nightlight. It really is that easy. The nightlight feature is perfect for when we want to watch movies in the theater room. The cost of these lights are so reasonable and truly cut down the yearly energy cost. I’ve seen similar lights in the big box stores with a much higher price point but there is no reason to waste money. Skip the high price and big annoying cans and install these slim recessed lights for a fraction of the cost and frustration. You’ll be glad you did!

Hubby likes these lights, he didn’t have a problem installing them. They’re simple, push in the blue spring clip and pop in the drywall. No trim needed. He also likes that they would be easily removed if needed. They are dimmable, and have different white settings. They come in a handy 12 pack, so we had enough to set up the family room. Very convenient. Would definitely get these again.

I got these to replace my traditional high hats, and wow, what a difference. I had really bright bulbs in the recessed lights, but it always felt like most of the light was getting lost inside the cans, these made a tremendous difference. Theyre as easy to install a many of these lights, but the lead in wires already come with push in connectors integrated (if you prefer write nuts or lever locks, theres plenty of slack to cut them off and start over). The push-ins have three available slots, and the wiring boxes have three knock out holes, so you can easily daisy chain the lights, feeding up to two lights from each one. The five color temperature levels let you select your preferred lighting color with greater accuracy, and are really easy to change, with a positive stop at each setting, so you arent likely to overshoot. My only gripe may not be an issue for most people. Im very sensitive to color fidelity, and these are maybe 80% at best. Most of the lighting in my house is 90%+, and to me that makes a big difference. However, most residential lighting is 80%,and the room in using them in the color spectrum isnt that important.

I chose these disk-style ceiling lights to put in closets and alcoves that are always too dark. They are very easy to install and work well. One thing I like about these 4-inch lights is that they perfectly fit in place of round ceiling wiring box when updating older fixtures. I have replaced several of my “dome” style ceiling lights with these. All I had to do was remove the old fixture and wiring box, wire in the power supply box, and these disks fit perfectly in the hole left by the old fixture. I prefer a warm white lighting in most areas, so I set them to the 3000K color temperature and that is perfect. For bathrooms, I prefer a whiter light so I can set them to the 5000K temperature. These are great, modern looking ceiling lights and I highly recommend them.

I have gutted a house and have been replacing the ceilings and adding a lot of downlights to both brighten rooms during the short winter days and to highlight different parts of the rooms or to set moods. To do all of that, I made a test bench where I could easily swap out different light switches and LED downlights. Not all switches work with all LED lights and not all LED lights are dimmable. Some downlights make buzzing noises when you try to dim them, others just switch off and others wont dim less than 90% of full brightness. And different switch / LED downlight combinations can achieve different results. These lights by Meconard claim to be dimmable from 3% to 100%. They are not. They maybe go down to 50% if I am being generous and depending on the switch. Some dimmers result in the light turning off if you set the switch too low. Some switches resulted in buzzing from the LED lights, but the buzzing is very soft. I would doubt most people would notice a few feet from the light. The nightlight is also dimmable and it does dim a bit more than the main light, but not to 3%. Switching between the nightlight and the regular light is done by flicking the wall switch and this feature works well. The light comes with the standard metal box where you make your connections. Opening the box to make your connections is easy enough. The light includes quick connects. The wires from the box are tinned and the wires are rigid enough to be able to push in and out of the quick connects unlike stranded copper. You can choose from several different light temperatures which works well. The switch is on the outside of the metal box so you will have to reach up into the ceiling to change the temperature, but this is normal an having the switch on the outside of the box is preferable. Overall, these are nice lights. I do wish they dimmed as much as claimed but they don’t so I am taking off stars for that. Pros: - easily switch between the light and the nightlight - five different color temperatures - come with quick connects and the light is easy to connect and to install, assuming your wiring is all ready to go on your end. - low profile Cons - not as dimmable as claimed and they can buzz with some dimming switches
