Love these lights. I just got one box to try them out but I’ll be ordering a few more cause I want to use these around my entire house. The brightness is top notch and the option to change the warm/cool lights is an excellent touch. I will say I thought these would be a little bigger but that’s my fault for not looking at the measurements correctly. Overall love them!

I have a basement full of recessed light cans. They run about 6 per switch, so thats a good bit of light...and electric (when the kids leave them on). I picked up these Meconard 12 Pack 6 Inch LED Recessed Ceiling Lights as a replacement for those cans. Nice 12 pack quantity will do nicely. The lights are super thin and lightweight. The installation instructions are ok, but this isnt an over tricky install since its a replacement of existing 6 inch cans. The power pack is also pretty small and doesnt weigh much. As you can see, it fits about in the palm of my hand. Wiring in is pretty simple, just pay attention to what youre doing and be sure to use good, safe practices (like turning off the circuit at the box). Also on the power pack is the light settings. I went with the second to highest. I dont have dimmers in this area so I didnt try them. Here are my favorite things about these lights: The low profile of the light is very nice. Plus it has that glow night light function is pretty sweet. I also love the easy no twist wiring setup. Ease of install and no need for additional stuff made me happy too. These light are supposed to last a really long time. So I cant say much about that one since they are new. But they do look very good and I DIYd them without issue!

I posted a question about having to go into the attic to change the color/mode of the lights. The reason I asked is because I am not able to go into my attic or climb a ladder to reach into my ceiling to change the color. Im betting that Im not alone. I was very pleased to get three responses. Thanks! But I was not happy with the honest and accurate responses that I received, so I contacted the seller to see if there were cables/cords to lengthen the distance b/w the light and box. I am wanting to put the lights in the ceiling, but plan to put the boxes in a cabinet that I can easily reach so I can make the change that I desire anytime I desire. As easy as flipping the switch on the box. The company replied within a few hours saying that, yes, there is a cable kit available to do so. I dont believe we are allowed to mention specific other products in our reviews, so I wont. But if youve ever thought about doing something similar, it is possible. Might be an idea for the company to put the info into their ad. Im giving five stars for an easy install, by someone other than me, because of the enclosed instructions, template and overall design of the product.

I would recommend these. They seem to be identical to the ones you buy in the box stores. Can light hardware has come a long way from actually having to install housings and layout out based on the joists above. These haev the segregated junction box and the light itself fits in the space of the drywall. This version of a can light will cost you north of $20 a light in the box stores. They seem to be bright and dont have a flicker. Only time will tell regarding durability.

The lights dim very smooth and I did not see any flickering. We are going to be installing these in our living room once we get to that point in the renovation so I hope they hold up long term. They were packaged very nicely and the press in wire nuts inside the box seemed to be quality and hold things tight. They also use a standard 3pin low voltage lighting connector if you need to extend the distance to the control box without running more conduit or ROMEX.

These lights are great. They are super easy to install, even if you’ve never installed Canlite’s before. These lights can go into a ceiling with almost no clearance at all. If you drill a hole through your ceiling and hit a truss, you can still use these lights. as long as your sheet rock is a half inch thick these will still work. They are super bright, but are dimmable. I highly recommend these, especially for the price. So easy to use, and rated to be installed around or in insulated ceilings.

These lights offer the flexibility of both brightness and various color temperatures to fit different home styles and needs. They are easy to install and have great values as well if you compare $8.3/light with $9.3/light at Home Depot for the similar items with similar quality and features. They are dust free and energy efficient. I especially like the fact that I can dim them almost completely which is much needed on a hot summer night. Happy with the purchase!

Nowadays everybody is getting away from can lighting and going with LED recessed lights. They are so easy to install and you can put them anywhere. Inside the box there is a template of how big to cut your hole. Just choose where you want the light, cut the hole, and slide your wires into the tabs of box up in the attic. You don’t even need any wire nuts. You can change the brightness of the lights with a flip of a switch and they look clean and sleek. You can’t go wrong with these!

These are nice lights that have a good finish. I like the different color options and the night light is a good idea that we love. All of my lights worked with no issues. I am pleased and I would buy again. 5 STARS

I really like 4 inch recessed lights in areas that dont need a ton of direct lighting. Thats why I really love to use these sized lights in hallways. They give just enough light to see where you are walking (depending on the number you install) without being overly bright. Installation was easy since I have installed about 30 of these lights in the past few weeks: drill your holes, run your wires then start connecting your lights. Each light has an individual junction box with the color tempo switch on the side of the box. This is a slightly more inconvenient design as opposed to other brands of lights that have the switch for color temp on the actual fixture. This is only really relevant if you think you will need to change the color of the bulbs periodically for some reason. Also, these light only allow for three color temps. Other lights have as many as 5 different choices. The spring to attach these to the ceiling is very strong, to the lights do sit flush against the ceiling. Overall, I recommend these lights for areas where you desire a consistent color temp.
