> 24 hourI figured I would run into some quirks with the dual/switch outlet, but it was one of the easiest Wi-Fi HomeKit products to setup/install. Would buy again. I used for a fountain, and for the fountain lights each with its own timer/automation.

> 24 hourThe product looks nice, has two plugs that can be remotely controlled independent of each other and functions as advertised. HomeKit setup was easy and the Wi-Fi range proved adequate to reach one Smart Plug at the rear of our property (about 50 feet from the back of the house). Can be controlled by push button switch on the front, via icons in the HomeKit APP, and by voice request to Siri. Finally, the Meross Outdoor smart Plug has companion indoor plugs, embedded wall switches, garage door openers that provide easy upgrades to plain old plugs and switches that are installed as a default by most home builders.

> 24 hourThis is a sturdy, easy to use unit with reliable Alexa integration. Even though it’s only rated for 10 amps or 1250 watts, it uses a higher grade, weather resistant 14 AWG electrical cable rated as SJTW, 105C. The outlets are plugged with thick rubber caps that look like they’ll hold up well. Setup is simple, thanks to well written instructions and a good app. There’s a separate set of instructions for the Homekit users too. It has a handy notch to mount the outlet to the wall (though I wish this was offset so that the screw would be accessible). There’s also a little loop on the strain relief that can serve a similar purpose. The app is great. It does a good job of guiding the setup process and it seems to be written by someone who understands English like a native speaker. Once set up, the app has a couple features that are sometimes overlooked: a countdown timer so that the outlet will automatically turn off after X minutes and an option to turn off the LEDS. Plus, there’s a widget to control devices directly from the homescreen. Also, it has one essential feature that every manufacturer ought to have: a direct link to the manual. Alexa integration works flawlessly and the wifi range seems good. Alexa commands are carried out reliably and with no more than a couple seconds delay. Alexa routines also work well. Each plug can be named and addressed independently. The unit as a whole can also be named. (Hint: use names that sounds distinctly different.) Right now I have the unit about 150’ from an access point, going through half a dozen walls, in a RF congested area and I’ve had zero issues.

> 24 hourI own a lot of Meross plugs and they normally work well. However, these outdoor plugs are very difficult to connect since they use HomeKit. I have an Apple phone but don’t use HomeKit. You can’t really avoid HomeKit with these and I think that’s the issue. I would not recommend these now. Bummer because Meross users to be really good.

> 24 hourSo far this outdoor switch has been working flawlessly. I have it connected to a string light and set up an automation to turn them on at dusk and off at dawn and it has been working exactly like I wanted. I’ve been using HomeKit devices since their inception and this was by far the easiest and smoothest to set up. It does only work on 2.4GHz networks, like a lot of HomeKit devices, but it has not been an issue. It’s also very nice that you can control both outlets independently on the Home app. I honestly did not expect that and although I don’t have a use for the other plug yet, I think it’s a great feature. Hopefully it holds up over time outdoors as I don’t know what I’d do without it now!

> 24 hourConnecting this unit to HomeKit was very straightforward and took only a couple minutes. Works just as I expected. I have incorporated several devices into my HomeKit systems, so have some familiarity with the process. This may have been the quickest and easiest.
