Greater than one weekThis was my first meross product in my Apple HomeKit. I purchased this outdoor smart plug because its one of the only reasonably-priced ones on the market compatible with HomeKit. I followed *all* the instructions and warnings when connecting it to my home network and it was still very, very difficult. I actually had to return the first plug I ordered because it absolutely refused to connect to my home network (I presume it was defective). The second one I ordered still took about *20* tries to get it onto my network and into the Home app. My advice: 1. Try over and over to add it to Home via the meross app. it might take > 10 tries with factory resets between attempts. 2. Once its added DO NOT try to move it to another outlet... I first performed the setup close to my wifi router to maximize the signal; then I planned to move it outside (it is an outside plug after all...) but when I did this is removed itself from my network and could not reconnect. I had to redo the entire setup outside and I dont plan on ever moving the outlet again for fear it will disconnect. 3. The meross app might warn you that its been added to Home but it was not added to the meross app itself - ignore this, after some time it will appear in the meross app by itself. After all of this hassle it seems to be connected to the home... hopefully it stays that way. I probably would not buy another meross product based on my experience with this plug.

> 3 daySo I live in an apartment complex and bought this for my outdoor balcony for my string lights. I tried to set it up on my balcony and each attempt ended in failure. After several on and off attempts over the span of a few hours, I brought it inside out of frustration. I then tried to see if I could pair it inside, and it worked on the first try. Not what was happening from a technical standpoint but that fixed the pairing issue, and now it works fine.

Greater than one weekIndividually control multiple outlets, via the app or via Alexa. HomeKit not required. Works great!

> 3 dayMaybe the units interoperability with HomeKit is just on the edge? My first unit was always a little flakey but then, after ~7 months (Nov 2022) stopped working altogether with my HomePod and iPhone (iOS 16.4.1(a)). Can reset it and re-add it, but then the Home app reports it as non-responsive.... Same difficulty.

Greater than one weekIve seen questions about being unable to set it up because of the 2.4GHZ. The model I have is the Homekit ready one. I had no issue setting it up using an iPhone that was connected to the 5GHZ portion of my mixed network. 2.4 is not a problem and is actually what most iot devices use because of the nature of having to connect to a network wirelessly, and often through walls. Setup was a snap and I was turning the lights on and off in my backyard like a wizard in no time.

> 3 dayWas able to set this up immediately from HomeKit (unlike my WeMo plugs which had a 50/50 success rate). At first I thought both outlets were switched together, but realized HomeKit grouped both outlets as a pair in the app. So, best of both worlds, I can both outlets independently, or together. This allowed me to dump two of my other smart plugs and a splitter cable clean up the clutter behind the bookshelf. The fact that its weather proof is just a bonus to its versatility. For now, the Meross is still required if you want to update firmware. Its not a bad, but I prefer the unity of HomeKit to control all my devices. Do make sure you have good WiFi around where this is plugged in. I have the Meross garage door opener as well and both seem to be sensitive to poor wifi signal. Havent had any issues, but both devices almost constantly show me in red quality at ~72% signal. They still work like clockwork though, so it may not be that big of a deal, YMMV.

Greater than one weekLove: - So easy to set up. Set up in less than 5 minutes, literally. Make sure its connected to a 2.4 GHz network. - Compatible with all smart devices (Alexa/Google/Homekit/SmartThings) - Waterproof - while I didnt soak it in water, it survived two rain sessions! - Multiple plugs and can control each one in the app/by voice Dislike: - While I appreciate the light indicator that its on, I wish it had a light for each plug. However, I can see it easily through my Google Home/Meross app. - If unplugged when turned on, the app still shows as its on as it lost its WIFI signal Overall, it does exactly what I wanted, works well, and again, so easy to set up. This will be perfect for all of our decorations for the upcoming holidays.

> 3 dayWould not connect with my phone. I tried on and off for three days, many resets and screaming outbursts later, I gave up. I wanted it to work so badly, and I loath giving up but it was clear to me that this would not work. Especially the far range I was wanting to put it at after I got it hooked up, which I wasn’t able to do even within two feet of my wifi and phone.
