Great for bus and personal needs

It is shocking that a big company like Microsoft would sell these duds. I got 2 both stopped working after 3 months. One will not start anymore and I had to get a replacement (it takes 4-6 days to get one by the way) and the other just keeps popping up this annoying network error. There is no documentation out there for fixing it and it seems the tech support people do not have a clear solution. Just guessing. Furthermore they have this S mode which is essentially a suite of Microsoft products and its a bitch to get out of it say to run Chrome as a web browser ... and of course we have apps that need to run on chrome. So now we have to reinstall the windows OS in order to get out of S mode (this was advised after talking with Microsoft support for a couple of hours). So now I have to track down a 15G SD card to put the disc image on and do the reinstall.

Value for money

Just bought one woth msft employee discount, sent to 3rd party ecompanystore and email after purchas says sent on behalf of Microsoft cic, wry poor customer service hung 4 times, no dispute resolution or complaint dept, laptop when charging even when turned off has a vibration felt only when moving finger on non keyboard, non mouse surface that’s feels like a current which makes it a hazard, cal customer service they said so many of the surfaces are being returned, water time, wasted effort and have to look for another one now if this return goes through, say no to Microsoft, never again.

The laptop is supposed to be brand new, but it wasn’t even working......

Bought this as a grad gift for my eldest stepdaughter. She is quite satisfied with the purchase, armed and ready for her first year in college in the fall...

Lightweight, perfect size, touchscreen, great price!

Solid computer. In the sense that it feels sturdy and solid, and as well as for getting stuff done as well. Would recommend highly for school and day to day computer needs!

I have been using my computer for less than two months. After using it yesterday afternoon I plugged in to recharge overnight and this morning when I opened my computer I found my screen mess up. It did not had any physical damage at all and it didnt even lasted 2 months. Im very upset.

This is my second Surface I’ve purchased in the last 3-4 years. The other being a higher end Surface with a detachable screen.
