> 3 dayI have purchased power pigtails before for hooking up cameras and LED strips. Last time I got some that looked heavy duty, with thick insulation but turned out to have 22 gage wire which was a pain to solder and in some cases to light to handle the current. Not the case with this product. These wires are 18 gauge, tinned and easy to connect with solder or screws. They are heavy enough to handle a lot of current (I expect the connectors will fail before the wires). Buy these, you wont be disappointed.

04-04-2025Description says 18 gauge. They are not. I measured the thickness at about 22 gauge. If you connect equipment that needs 18 gauge, you may have a fire hazard on your hands.

06-04-2025I used a bunch of these to make a modular system for solar / rechargeable batteries / power bank / LED lights / 12v outlet-powered items for camping, outdoor hangouts. Everythings plug n play, easily switching between the various pieces. Plenty of cable on each, study connections. Didnt need the tinning on the wire in all cases, but its better having it and not needing it :-) Very nice solution and at a bargaintastic price!

Based on the price for 10 pairs of connectors with pigtails, I was expecting something for lower current than these can handle. They will solve my problem, and I will have an extra 5 pairs to use for higher current projects. Very happy with the purchase.

Greater than one weekUnfortunately. I could not utilize this in my application. When I put much more than 1 amp on this. The connector started smoking and became hot and started to melt the connector. You will not get rated 5 amps at 12v without melting and or fire.
