> 3 dayThese pigtails are of a good quality and the connections feel tight and secure. Much better than most inexpensive sets which are of a much smaller gauge wire and can often give an uncertain feel to the connection.

> 3 dayI tried using a competitors version of these connectors but the wires were much thinner and both male and female ends had exposed metal at the tips that easily shorted out when you plugged them in. Not good when these things are used to charge a 30 AH 12 volt battery! But these have male connectors that have the inner conductors protected by a plastic tip and female connectors that have the outer conductors recessed making it impossible to short the inner and outer conductors together. And the wires are nice and thick and I have better confidence in them holding up to the expected four amps running through them continuously. I took off one star though because the connectors themselves look kind of cheap and I suspect that they wont hold up to daily plugging in and out, but so far so good. Also the connector wires are pre-stripped and pre-tinned to exactly the same length and that shows good quality control. It was very easy to solder the wires to copper ring connectors, making for a very secure connection. UPDATE: Since I ordered this, they seemed to have changed the female connector to one that has exposed metal on the tip. I included a picture of the ones I ordered and reviewed.
