Greater than one weekTip: wire 2 females to every male on your bus line and you will have a way to fork your line in the even you want to power track-powered dcc items like the NCE lighting decoders or just have two directions of modular layout possible without clamping type t adapters. Need to see if I can buy just female leads to make up for the hot dog and bun math issue this creates, but that is not the fault of the product. The wires inside are a bit frail and won’t survive too much wiggling, so solder or shrink wrap enforce your connections and don’t twist too much, had to redo a connection made with wirenut, but for this price that’s not a complaint. Don’t know the amp capacity for these, so CYA and check if your system needs more than a standard CAB to power.

Everythings plug n play, easily switching between the various pieces. Plenty of cable on each, study connections. Didnt need the tinning on the wire in all cases, but its better having it and not needing it :-) Very nice solution and at a bargaintastic price!

> 3 dayI Use these power connectors to make Pigtails for all my Radio Equipment. it makes it faster to relocate a vehicle-mounted radio, into a Go-Kit and allow for multiple connection-points from one source. The 18 gage wire is thick enough to carry a 12vdc 4 amp load with no issues. You can use crimp connectors, but I solder and heat-shrink all connections for durability.
