Morakniv Garberg Full Tang Fixed Blade Knife with Carbon Steel Blade

I use it mostly for bushcraft and desert survival training and it can take good working in the field! Im a former Marine and used to the old school Ka Bar. This model has that firm solid feel that really performs!

First Mora knife that didnt come razor sharp but it didnt take long to sharpen it. Great knife so far.

One of the best bushcraft knives

I have several Mora Knives and I love them all. But this one is defiantly the most rugged because of its full tang. It has a thick blade width and also a 90 degree spine which will throw loads of sparks from my1/2 diameter ferro rod. Moras scandi grind cant be beat for ease or sharpening/ honing.

I was looking for a full tang knife that was not too big and this foots the bill nicely.

Ok... right out of the box, wow! Sturdy and very appealing. Rugged and definitely dependable. That being said, it was not sharp. Had to put some elbow to it

Only thing I dislike is the handle. It gets a little slippery with blood if you happen to get it covered like I did when butchering, it still held well and if would have held betterwith gloves. However its not my main hunting knife and its still my favorite knife in my collection. Its easy to sharpen and easy to clean. Its the perfect knife for Bushcraft and hikeing. Its a great blade for helping you start a fire and it can skin out small and big game well enough. It can baton wood if you like to do that stuff. Personally I dont. Mora has never let me down before, definitely with my $150 and $230 benchmade knives. The leather sheath is well made and holds the knife well. The tactical sheath looks good if you like to carry your knife on you pack.

Knife was dull. I got the model with the leather sheath. Looked good but for the price you would expect it to be sharp like other Moras I have purchased. Also this knife is heavy. Ordered a Carbon steel Bush craft model also. Sent the Garberg back, kept the Bushcraft. Better suited for my needs
