Morakniv Kansbol Fixed Blade Knife with Sandvik Stainless Steel Blade

Great! I’m a huge fan of Mora as both an entry level tool, and a collectors piece for a knife snob, haha. I took it hunting with me, and I’ve even used it to slash open amazon packages, it’s awesome. Absolutely love it. You won’t find anything better, or of a higher quality for the price, and even for a great deal more money.

This knife lives up to the Morakniv name. If you know the name, then you know what to expect and this knife delivers. Quality is great, comfort is great (this is actually my favorite Morakniv in terms of comfort) and its just a solid, solid knife. The inclusion of a fire starter is a nice touch. We like that they made the back of the blade a little sharper on the edges so it works well with the fire rod. Its a great combination. The only thing I didnt love about this particular Morakniv is the blade grind. Moraknivs are famous for their Scandinavian grind which makes sharpening a breeze. (Since there is only one bevel.) This has the same grind, but the bevel is so narrow on the front half of the blade that it makes it a little harder holding the angle right when sharpening. Someone experienced with knife sharpening will have zero issue with this, but it was surprising. Overall, fantastic knife. Excellent steel, great fire starter, and the Morakniv quality. Highly recommended.

Their Knife line is the best and the best value...try them you will have a few around after you do. Try all sizes and prices, Great value and quality product. They now make a full tang knife ; not cheap but powerful!!

I have 3 Moraknivs. This is my favorite. The blade is incredibly sharp. The fit and finish is perfect. Its so light on my belt I barely know its there. If youre thinking about the kansbol just go ahead and get it. Its nearly the perfect knife for an outdoorsman. Ill probably buy another just to have as a backup.

just used one in the kitchen at camp in Wyoming. Was so great and versatile, that i bought one one at camp for when i got home.

I have used this for the past two months and it is wonderful. It is the first very sharp knife I have ever owned. Everything goes through it like butter. I got it in orange and I am glad I did. It is so much easier to find in my dark bag.
