They work. Without reading the directions and never having removed a big dual sport tire before they logically allowed me to break the bead with minimal thinking. Besides working fine as a bead breaker, they can double as tire spoons too so if you are using it to make a to-go emergency tool kit its a reasonable choice. No regrets on purchase. -- On a side note, if you have never changed a tire yourself yet do yourself a flavor and practice the first one in the safety of your garage. Its do-able, but hard work. Having prior experience before a real emergency could be valuable later so you know you have all the right tools and knowledge in advance. Also bought Motion Pro 08-0286 10 T6 Combo Lever to do this and it is a very nice item.

I tried these on my 17 sportbike tire. I was not impressed with them much at all honestly. there are a bit short to really get good leverage trying to take off the tire. I ended up giving up on these and going back to my old spoons. these might be good for an enduro and off-road style tire but i would not recommend them for a sportbike tire.

The design of the tire iron is great...how they fit together and work. They are strong, but Im a pretty big guy and I did bend one. I tried to straighten it but its curved. Also, do yourself a favor and buy the longer set.

These are lightweight but sturdy and came in incredibly handy when I picked up a nail and had to repair a tire. Great purchase.

Have the opportunity to use this tool on three tires this weekend and it works but not as well as they would lead you to believe it does, you need to take your time and Dont Force It as eventually it will break down the bead

Very pleased - this tool just plain works. Lightweight and compact for packing. Broke the bead and completely dismounted and remounted the tubeless tire on my BMW GS. No drama.
