> 3 dayOne of those luxury items that you don’t know you need until you know and then you’ll be cursing yourself for not having a better set.

> 3 dayI saw a video with a guy using these and bought them in late June. My wife stacked them somewhere until I was ready to do my tires. Well, today is the day! I go find them and they are like 10” long! The guy in the video had some 18” or so. These are good for a bicycle or very small tire. They certainly didn’t work for crap with my Vulcan 2000. Very upset because I paid $58 for the bike set and now see there is a longer set for $70. Don’t know what touring bike the description is referring to using them on, but not mine. HIGHLY recommend you buy the larger set

> 3 dayThese are very high quality and very light weight at the same time. With proper technique I was able to get two big, relatively stiff off road tires off the bead of my R1200GSA wheels. I recommend these over the forged steel since they are light enough to carry with you and since they are aluminum, you shouldnt scratch up your wheels quite as much. That said, for difficult tires, you will need three big spoons, but those can be had with rim protectors for around $25. However, these are great for debeading, and removing the tire for softer, radial road tires or dirt bike tires only.

> 3 dayThese tire irons work as advertised, and help break a tire bead fairly easily. That being said, they are too thick and too short for mounting a motorcycle tire. I couldnt get enough leverage due to their short length, and their thickness makes them difficult to work a bead onto the rim. So they work for a special purpose, and are useful for a garage tool kit. But these would not be good for a trail riding kit, IMHO.

Greater than one weekThey work, theyre much better than tire spoons but I wish they were twice as long for better leverage.

> 3 dayThey do the job perfectly, they are super light and extremely durable. 4 stars due to the high price.

> 3 dayDont get me wrong, these are great for thin-wheeled bikes (i.e. a dirt bike) and bicycles but for cruiser bikes, they just kept slipping right before they broke the bead. In terms of acting as a tire spoon, theyre just too short to provide enough leverage to get over half the bead over.

> 3 dayThey work. Without reading the directions and never having removed a big dual sport tire before they logically allowed me to break the bead with minimal thinking. Besides working fine as a bead breaker, they can double as tire spoons too so if you are using it to make a to-go emergency tool kit its a reasonable choice. No regrets on purchase. -- On a side note, if you have never changed a tire yourself yet do yourself a flavor and practice the first one in the safety of your garage. Its do-able, but hard work. Having prior experience before a real emergency could be valuable later so you know you have all the right tools and knowledge in advance. Also bought Motion Pro 08-0286 10 T6 Combo Lever to do this and it is a very nice item.

> 3 dayI have dismounted / mounted 5 tires with these Motion Pro 08-0519 BeadPros so far. At $35 per mount at a bike shop, they have more than paid for themselves. They provide great leverage and are easy to use. The bead breaker function works amazingly well. After a few bites, the bead pops right off. I have the shorter length. They are more than sufficient, but I can see where the longer ones would be worth the extra money. Would absolutely recommend.
