Product is better than the Security Deluxe I have been running however if you have an active subscription on your computer you really need to uninstall the older version prior to installation of this product to be safe. This is applicable to a PC running Win 10. Im not sure if you have the same issues with an Apple computer. Just download NRnR.exe from the Norton website and follow the instructions from the program.

Not to much trouble installing on the first computer, but the second one never could get it to download. Never have a problem with the CD disc. But they save money by making you download it. And couldnt care less after they have your money. With all the unresolved problems with norton anymore Im switching to a different company.

The answer to the question whether this can be installed IN ADDITION to your current subscription, thereby extending it, is incorrect. If you click on active, you will go to your subscription status where there is no add a key to be found anywhere. You first have to cancel auto-renewal (it takes about half a dozen clicks on cancel to finally get rid of the auto-renewal) and then wait until your current subscription expires while contending with all of the annoying messages to renew. Once you cancel auto-renew, the word active is replaced with renew and there is still no add a key. When you are notified that your subscription will expire, then you can TRY to install this one. Good luck with that. If it doesnt work, you will probably need to do a Norton re-install from scratch (and, by then, it will likely be way past the 30-day refund on this product from Amazon).

I am updating my review - I attempted to install it. They told me from Norton help that I had a bad key (said it was geolocked - I later learned that meant it indicated it was bein used in an inappropriate country). Their techs solution was for me buy the program again (he offered to discount it to 25% of their regular purchase price -I said no, I wasnt going to pay again to get what I already bought). I filed a consumer complaint , and when they got that information, Norton paid a little more attention to my concerns. I was contacted by someone from Norton with more authority, and more knowledge (thats how I learned about geolock and what it meant). Based on their email recommendations, I tried turning off my VPN, but that did not work on my desktop. While I was unable to update my account to the new Norton on my desktop, I ultimately was able to update it on one of my tablets (30 feet away, and connected to the Internet via the same network). Once it updated, I was able to log in to the account on my desktop and install it on the desktop computer. The Antivirus appears to not be slowing my computer down. I have had no hits on the lifelock service yet. As for the password manager, it is a major pain, having to log in and reenter passwords multiple times for it to work. I will not be using that service - it is significantly more cumbersome than my current set up. If it had worked like this at first, I would have given the program a 4-star rating, only knocking off one star for the password manager. But because of the lengths I had to go through to get real support, I knocked off another star, but it is significantly better than the original 1-star.

My previous Norton 360 has 30 days left on it and I have a new one for the most of 2023 so since it’s very near to Black Friday I decided to get another Norton 360 for 2024 and at a cheaper cost. Cool!!

This is confusion. I can’t tell if my computers are fully covered or not. I don’t understand why this process has to be so complicated and trickery involved. IJS! What’s going on?

What is not to like. It is easy to install, it snags malware when you happen across it, has added features over the years and it is easy to manage. Since malware is part of our day to day journey on the web, it is important to have a product that does the job before you make a mistake.... I have built every computer I have owned since approximately 1992, and Nortons has been my first line of defense for as long as I can remember. Note, I use others, like Malwarebytes etc. But my first line of defense is Nortons 360 antivirus.... Note I have no relationship with Norton other than I am a user of their software.

I have it installed on my laptop and Android device. I used to have it on my old desktop but purchased a new one that came with a year free McAfee. Im presently comparing the two. Not to keen on the forced Norton auto renew. Ill be disabling that feature soon

This review is for the Norton 360 Deluxe 2022 Internet Security Suite. Ive been using Norton products for many years on computers and Android smartphones. Ive always been very happy with all the Norton products that I have used. Ive never run into a virus or malware issue using their products. I also have not seen any machine slowdown or high resource utilization, although reviews do say it uses more resources than several of the other competitors. Only a couple of times over the years was I not happy with the interface, but I have always been very pleased with the performance. The one thing I find annoying with Norton for the last couple of years is that they are constantly advertising their products and upgrades, which is annoying. The one thing I do not recommend doing is installing their web browser extensions. Every professional review and I.T. professional I have talked to agrees that the adding the web browser extension reduces security. This is because the web browser makers are able to updated and patch their browser quicker than Internet security software makers can. All the publication reviews that I have read put Norton in first, second, or third place. The Microsoft Windows Defender software that comes built in with Windows 10 is also highly rated, but every review I saw still ranked Norton above it.
