I am updating my review - I attempted to install it. They told me from Norton help that I had a bad key (said it was geolocked - I later learned that meant it indicated it was bein used in an inappropriate country). Their techs solution was for me buy the program again (he offered to discount it to 25% of their regular purchase price -I said no, I wasnt going to pay again to get what I already bought). I filed a consumer complaint , and when they got that information, Norton paid a little more attention to my concerns. I was contacted by someone from Norton with more authority, and more knowledge (thats how I learned about geolock and what it meant). Based on their email recommendations, I tried turning off my VPN, but that did not work on my desktop. While I was unable to update my account to the new Norton on my desktop, I ultimately was able to update it on one of my tablets (30 feet away, and connected to the Internet via the same network). Once it updated, I was able to log in to the account on my desktop and install it on the desktop computer. The Antivirus appears to not be slowing my computer down. I have had no hits on the lifelock service yet. As for the password manager, it is a major pain, having to log in and reenter passwords multiple times for it to work. I will not be using that service - it is significantly more cumbersome than my current set up. If it had worked like this at first, I would have given the program a 4-star rating, only knocking off one star for the password manager. But because of the lengths I had to go through to get real support, I knocked off another star, but it is significantly better than the original 1-star.

I purchased Norton product from an authorized reseller. When I tried to activate my subscription, the product code came up as stolen. Norton did not want to honor their product even though I had the receipt and they confirmed it was an authorized purchase. After I threatened them with criminal prosecution for fraud, they then decided to replace the product. After the new Norton was installed, one week later, they charged my account for an automatic renewal at @ $100.00. I had to call in and argue before they finally agreed to take the charge away. I thought everything was cleared up until I tried to upgrade another computer because what I bought included service for 5 units. Now, I cannot upgrade anything except my primary unit even thought my current receipt says I can use it on a total of 5 pieces. Eventually, Im sure it will get worked out, but you have to be available to argue with support techs before they will do their job.

Product is better than the Security Deluxe I have been running however if you have an active subscription on your computer you really need to uninstall the older version prior to installation of this product to be safe. This is applicable to a PC running Win 10. Im not sure if you have the same issues with an Apple computer. Just download NRnR.exe from the Norton website and follow the instructions from the program.

Ive always been satisfied with Nortons various anti-virus and internet security products. Have used their anti-virus on my computers since 1995. I have to admit that Im satisfied with the products, but not their new subscription plan. Like many other software companies, they changed how you register your software. If you purchase from a retail outlet, such as Amazon, you have to give them a credit card or PayPal account that will automatically be billed at the higher subscription rate unless you notify them not to bill your card. Im always looking for the best price available due to limited resources, so thats my opinion on that aspect of the software. Its performance is good. I download the new updates when I sign on to the internet every day and run a brief scan when I sign off. I would recommend Nortons computer security products.

Have not used all features. I will need help to install some of the features. I DO NOT like auto renewal on anything.

I have worked with government security, and I trust Norton 360 Deluxe to protect my sensitive computer/mobile information. I have used them for years. The software is easy to install, is very user friendly, and a great value for the price you pay. I would highly recommend this product.

Good enough, but no matter how many times you reject using one of their features, Norton support will pester the snot out of you to do it. It is extremely annoying.

Ive used Norton antivirus/security off and on for many years, and the product seemed to be decent. I remember about 15 years ago they used to play annoying games with customers with a $10 or $20 mail-in rebate for their AV. They had all these rules you had follow to get the rebate. If you didnt follow their rules exactly, you would get a reply mail saying your rebate has been rejected. And you couldnt resubmit because the rebate periods were very short. Now theyre playing this new game when activating this product, where youre forced to enter a credit card number that will be used to auto-bill you for next year. At first, when I was installing this, I was a little confused when the message came up saying to enter a credit card number. I thought WTF, Im using a prepaid subscription, why are they trying to bill me again? I came back to this Amazon page to see if there were specific instructions and also read the comments from others who gave 1 star, then I figured it out. When theyre asking for a credit card number, its not very clear that the purpose of this is to bill you next year with auto-renewal with the credit card number you enter, where theyll charge you $60, what the renewal cost quoted to me was. Ill turn auto-renewal off and switch to another AV for next year.

Norton seems to be an effective in preventing viruses,. I seem to be getting a lot of emails about other services i should subscribe to through Norton. Im never sure how much I need these other services, but why arent they explained and offered when you first sign up for Norton.
