> 3 dayI was going to order it from a retail store, when I read the comments a few people felt the Norton came from a third party and had problems installing. This was from Norton worked great and tech support helped me get it installed. If you are on auto renew it will be quite a bit higher cost in a year. So find out how to turn off your auto renew. I still haven’t done it yet, they auto renew 3 months before expiration is what I heard/read?

> 3 dayI bought the Norton software because I have used it in the past and had not incurred any problems. When I attempted to load the software a screen popped up that I could not by pass requiring me to input my credit card for renewal. I paid for the software and had to call the help to be able to software I had already purchased. This is ridicules. Choosing to renew software should be an option not a requirement.

11-04-2025Norton is horrible now. I used them for years previously. I spent an hour trying to cancel the auto renewal, at 4 times the price of the original purchase. Turns out you have to set up a chat and then they wasted about 30 minutes trying to talk me out of cancelling the auto renewal and also kept badgering me to not cancel the whole subscription. Thats an hour and a half of my life tonight that I cant get back. I will NEVER do business with Norton again. The marketing people have ruined their product. Better options out there.

> 3 dayIve used Norton for a decade. However over the last year their marketing has become intrusive, annoying and pervasive. They are trying to enlarge their corporate reach buy adding companies and services to their portfolio. In turn they are advertising those services to the point of now becoming the very type of violator that we need an antivirus program to prevent, spam. Norton now generates incessant, repetitive, annoying and intrusive spam messages meant to stimulate you to buy additional programs and services. It is at the point where I find it so annoying that if it continues I will dump them cold. Whoever in their marketing department developed this approach should be fired and replaced immediately before general consensus tanks their stock.

> 3 dayProduct took a couple tries to download. Before installing, make sure you have uninstalled any previous versions of Norton and that you have current billing information input. Also, if your internet connection is interrupted, you may also get a Bad Product Key notice. If these 3 things dont work, call Customer Service: 1. Make sure all prior versions were uninstalled 2. Make sure you have updated billing information input 3. Check that you have a strong internet connection.

Greater than one weekI would like a product that only requires a few steps to put into the computer and then thats it. You are protected for the next year. Not have to do additional steps for each part of it. And I dont want ads to keep coming up, especially for things that I thought I already had for protection. It is confusing

> 3 dayI wasted the past 90 minutes trying to install this software. When I followed the initial steps, I was prompted to create an account but was told that my email address was already associated with an account. So, I requested a password reset 3 times and never received it. Then I spent 30 minutes with Nortons online support and they were unable to email me a password reset. They told me to reboot my computer which seemed like a waste of time and it was. As a workaround, I decided to create an account with a new email address and was able to do so. Then I was prompted to download the software and reboot my machine. So, I installed and rebooted but was prompted to install. I saw no indication that the software had been installed so I repeated the downloading, installation, and rebooting and was once again prompted to download the software. This ordeal was a 90 minute waste of time. I would expect much better of Norton.

> 3 dayIve been using this product for years, and so far it seems to be working to keep my computer safe...... hopefully!! It is cheaper than buying it directly from Norton.
