NOW Supplements, Magnesium 400 mg, Enzyme Function*, Nervous System Support*, 180 Veg Capsules

I’m a repeat customer for these Magnesium caps from NOW. I take them at bedtime to help me sleep and avoid leg cramping. I’ve used this same product for several years. I always buy NOW brand vitamins and supplements. This is a great product for anyone looking to improve their sleep (it is not a sleeping pill tho) and help with any type of leg cramping or restless leg issues. As Magnesium is a trace mineral you can’t really be tested to see if you are deficient but many people are. A good supplement can help you sleep and rest better, amongst other things.

All I know is, I havent had any nighttime leg muscle cramps ever since I started taking this about 6 months ago. EXcruciating pain, if you know what I mean. Except for when I got lazy and didnt take them for about a week. Then I started with the leg cramps again and let me tell you, Ill never stop taking them again.

I take magnesium 1st because I was told that I was deficient, 2nd because I learned that it would help to ease my leg cramps. When I was deciding which one to purchase here, I learned that it could help me to sleep. I have been taking 800 mg, and now I split my daily dose with 1- 400 mg, EASY to swallow capsule twice a day instead of all at once. I am sleeping much better!

I was hesitant to try the magnesium but after about 5 days I could see the difference in my sleep. It is a much more restful sleep.

After about a week of taking one capsule at night, I began to realize I was waking up with awful headaches every morning. I stopped taking and my headaches haven’t returned. Not sure why this happened but I guess I’m better off without this supplement.

This product is a fulfillment of part of my physicians Plan of Care. The ease with which I can obtain it and have it arrive on my doorstep is much appreciated.
