This is the best carrier I have gotten. It is extremely sturdy and took no time building it. The bag it comes with is nice, to carry all of the extras when you dont need it. The tray and grate it came with at the bottom is perfect for my bird to not step in her poop. The only problem is that the food bowl is extremely hard to install on to the bag. Other than that its perfect. Just took my gcc with me to the mountain and it gave her plenty of space. My bird loves this carrier as well. Only wish the bag came with a hook to attach toys for my bird. But it is totally worth the price. Great non-eatable fabric as well.

His head cant go any higher, and his tail cant go any lower. In fact, we only put paper in bottom tray without the grate or his tail drags. We were kind of discouraged when we first got this carrier because it stated the perch is 1 diameter when its really 1/2. I noticed theyve since changed that info. But we liked the carrier so much we decided it was worth customizing a perch. Also the wire that attaches the food dish was about 1/8 too short. They kindly replaced it and also gave us $10 back because of the mislabeled perch size. Company was excellent to deal with. We put in our own perch finally (pictured) with our own hardware. Perfect now. Only other complaint is that the perch can turn around in the carrier, unless theyve fixed this problem. When we put in our own perch, we also added ahdesive gripper mat pieces cut to size. Solved. If anyone wants to upgrade with their own perch, pictured is the hardware it took. The hanger bolts are a bit troublesome to put in, but heres what I learned. If you use an acorn nut on the end, but first screw on 3 standard nuts (from a package bolt set I had on hand), you can use a drill with socket attachment to screw in the bolt via the acorn nut UNTIL the nut breaks through (theyre weak) then then standard nuts will act as a stop and give you more length so you can continue to screw in until the bolt end and the smooth middle are in the wood, leaving only the machine end of the bolt exposed. Make sure the washers are stainless steel for bird safety! Other hardware can have zinc. First slide on a washer at each end, install perch, slide on another washer at each end on the outside now (adhese rubber backing first), then finish with wing nuts. You can see in the pictures how it looks on the outside, and they dont stick out enough to cause problems.

It came with a travel case, so if you want to store your backpack, you can fold it up easily. A pleasant surprise! I had two challenges with the pack: the perch was a little loose for my liking so I added a rubber washer and it was fine. And the cup was too big for the wire holder that came with it. Will probably replace it with a drawstring. Otherwise, the pack is excellent. It had a hole for a water dispenser that I didn’t not expect. It can also be clipped safely in a car seatbelt and can probably hold a African Grey no problem. Lots of room for my cockatiel!

5 stars all around!!! It comes with an extra perch for when he chews through it! For birds smaller than conures they may be able to stick their heads out the holes. It doesnt come with a drink tap. I suggest going to a pet store and getting a high quality one that fits. Put it in the cage first so the bird can get used to drinking from it. The pocket on the one side is very expandable! Make sure to have your baby used to the carry cage before taking him out in it :)

I just received this carrier the other day and Im very impressed. I have a small Pak-O-Bird by Celltei and let me tell you this is just as good if not better. The only thing I would wish for is for the mesh to be made of metal like the Celltei carriers and for a similar food dish set up. The inside is very spacious and is more than suitable for a Conure. It looks like it could fit up to a goffin cockatoo comfortably but because of their chewing habits I wouldnt recommend it for outside travelling. As a car seat it may work really well since theres less risk of escape into open air. Its easy to assemble and feels very sturdy. Im not a huge fan of the dish set up as it is very deep but it is nice that it is there to offer food while travelling. It would be nice if there were some D-hooks inside for hanging toys but if you are creative enough you can hang toys via the open vents at the top of the carrier. The tray is ever so slightly too long and makes the side flap bulge just a little. But it does fit snuggly in there and keeps the base flat. I admit, if the bird was a chewer, I would be concerned that the thin fabric of that flat in particular would be the first place they would get through. I LOVE the hard plastic edging surrounding the opening. It prevents birds from picking at the stitching which my conure has done to her Celltei carrier. There is one zipper on it that I question though and that is on the inside. On the back wall there is a zipper that opens up to expose the board that makes the back stiff. I dont fully understand why they put this zipper on the inside where the bird can pick at it. Putting it on the back outside would have made more sense. What I would love to see is a better dish set up, options for extra perches, toy hooks and a change in the mesh. A really great addition would be changing up the zippers on the front so that they either clip together or allow you to put a lock on it to secure the zippers closed. My biggest fear is having someone come up behind me and opening the bag. I usually slip a twist tie through the zippers when Im out just to be safe. And just because, Id love to see different colors! Ill be giving it a thorough testing by using it as a sleeper for my conure over the next little while. I highly recommend this carrier. The features are beyond expectation and the price is resonable. It comes with nice instructions, a small accessory bag and a larger storage bag. I have three birds and it is safe to say Ill be ordering a second one for my lovebirds. I also absolutely love that the company provides their contact information. A+ work.

Was very excited at first about this product. However, it lasted only around 3 months until my one year Goffins Cockatoo destroyed it (see pictures attached). I would not recommend if you have a bigger bird.

When it arrived, we wanted to try it right away. My cockatiel is young so she is kind of scared of new places (actually she was terrified) but with patience, we hope she would get used to it
