03-04-2025There should strap on one side came off (pulled out of the seam) within two weeks of occasional use. That said, my cockatiel loves it and the parts that effect his experience seem strong. The straps and back are also comfortable.

Greater than one weekI usually do not write reviews for products on Amazon, but I felt that I needed to write one here. This carrier EXCEEDS my expectations!!!!! I would not say that my green-cheeked conure loves it, but she definitely tolerates it more than any other carrier that I ever tried for her. She is a bit of a free spirit and does not like to be confined. However, the large window made her much more comfortable. It would be a little small for a larger bird, but it is a perfect size for a conure, cockatiel, or other smaller parrot. The perch is high enough that her tail does not drag the bottom, and there is plenty of room for her to move around. The quality of the product was outstanding. It is well-constructed and sturdy, which is important to me as I am using it to transport precious cargo. It is also lightweight, which is a plus! Really though, it is the little details that I was not even aware of when I made the purchase. The panel tie backs. The food bowl. The easily removable bottom tray. The space for the water bottle. And most importantly for me, easy ways to secure the carrier to a car seat for transport. No more throwing my arm back to prevent the tenuously strapped carrier from sliding during a turn or a hard brake when driving. It is more expensive than other carriers on the market, but I would highly recommend it to any bird lover. The quality and design were outstanding. It was worth it for the feathered member of my family.

> 3 dayGreat quality. No weird smell like reviews Ive read for other ones. Awesome size. Easy to put together and take apart for cleaning. My little guy loves it. Only thing Id change is that the hole for the water bottle to go through could be a little higher as its pretty much lower than the perch and this is annoying because he cant drink from it being so low and Ive had to screw in a second bowl for water. I also replaced the perch for a smaller dowel I bought at home depot since it was a bit big for my boy but this was easy to do.

Greater than one weekThis is the best carrier I have gotten. It is extremely sturdy and took no time building it. The bag it comes with is nice, to carry all of the extras when you dont need it. The tray and grate it came with at the bottom is perfect for my bird to not step in her poop. The only problem is that the food bowl is extremely hard to install on to the bag. Other than that its perfect. Just took my gcc with me to the mountain and it gave her plenty of space. My bird loves this carrier as well. Only wish the bag came with a hook to attach toys for my bird. But it is totally worth the price. Great non-eatable fabric as well.

> 3 dayGot this for my cockatiel for vet visits Unfortunately he is the most stubborn bird I’ve ever known and won’t go near the thing and throws a fit. It takes time to zip up the entrance, so its going to be difficult to get him in there and stay in. Might have to get a cage. Other than my stubborn cockatiel, this bag is great! It feel very high quality and I love the storage bag it comes it-folds so nicely to make everything compact and easy to store. It has a funky smell when you first open it, but I’m hoping that will go away once I’ve aired it out. It’s very spacious and could easily fit another cockatiel or a bigger parrot. Will continue to try to get my cockatiel to use it. If it doesn’t work, I will definitely keep it to use with future birds.

> 3 dayDefinitely had a strong plasticky smell for several days after receiving, so I would recommend airing it out extensively away from your bird. Once that faded, its great for car trips. I feel more secure being able to buckle my bird up. We took her on multiple 8-hour car trips in this, as well as to the vet. The holes to screw the perch are very small, so we replaced the perch with a rope one that we bend into a u-shape and screw through the holes in the top instead. Bird seems very comfortable and steady in the car this way, and likes being able to hang onto the side sometimes. Shes not a big fan of walks around the neighborhood in it, but thats just because she doesnt understand why she cant be on our shoulders instead.

> 3 dayMy sweet african grey slamed into the front every time I took a step. There is no way for her to catch herself from falling forward, its horrible and unbelievable!!! I should sue them since in my car, even though I was oh so careful, she ended up falling forward and cracking the bottom beak on the metal bowl. It was one of the worst experiences of my life as I had just rescued her from a horrible situation. So much trauma. DO NOT BUY FOR YOUR BIRD!

> 3 dayMy primary reason for purchasing this bag is for my husband who has an African Grey companion parrot. They are truly inseparable buddies and I wanted a travel cage that was light-weight and comfortable him to carry. The construction is sturdy and the material is prime - well worth the cost. It was easy to assemble. And the overall look is a stylist, while being functional.

> 3 dayOnly good for smaller parrots , if you have an African Grey the perches will hurt their feet cause they are too small .
