Chainring works as expected. The anodized blue is kind of faded and doesnt look as blue as in the pictures.

So far so good. Running a 1x8 setup with an old Alivio non-clutch deraileur and have not had any chain drops in my first few rides. I do not have a chain guide either. This chainring is the answer!

30t ring eliminates need for front derailleur, running 1x10 with shadow plus, no chain drops

Easy upgrade to enhance the look of your bike. Totally worth the money

i have a 2012 trek x-cal running 1x10, 36 up front and 11-36 in the back. I even have a long cage and non-clutched derailleur and havent dropped the chain once. i was skeptical at first but after looking it up and talking to other bikers i wanted to try it, i will have a hard time going back because i only ever used one ring up front.

I am a avid MTB and gravel rider. For anyone who hasnt tried the narrow wide ring from Race Face, you are in for a real treat! Ive ridden on a couple of these rings over the past year or less, and the chain does NOT slip, jump, its amazing technology. Ive gone from a 32 to 36 and upgrading drive trains. My set up is a 1x10. You can get rid of your jump stop and/or any other anti-chain slip device, you simply will not need it. I do Use a Shimano XT rear derailleur with a clutch. I would still prefer to use it as it reduces chain slap in the smaller rings. And, if you can afford to accent your whip, the colors rock.

My wifes new bike came with this same chain ring in a 32T as a 1x11(10-42) setup. The bike has a 27.5 wheel so the 32T was a little too tall of a gear for her since she is just starting out. Basically, with a 32T front, 42T rear and 27.5 tires, her first gear was equivalent to somewhere between 3 and 4 on her old 26 bike. I grabbed this 30T which dropped the 1st gear down to be about equivalent to 2nd gear on her old bike. The cool part is that with the 11 speed cassette and 27.5 wheels, her 11th gear is still taller than her old bike was on the middle chain ring. The only thing to be aware of is that the 32T was able to slide off of the crank without needing to remove it however, the 30T has a smaller inner diameter and required that the crank be pulled to get it on from the back side. This meant I needed to buy the Park Tool CCP-44 since Racefaces cranks are press fit on and do not self extract like the FSA crank on my bike. Just make sure you have the ability to get your crank off before you try to install this.

I have used 32t narrow wide in 1x10 29er without any problems for a while. 32-34t is good for 26 and 30-32t for 29.
