RaceFace 104mm Single Chain Ring

This is the third Race Face sprocket I purchase (for 3 different bikes of course), Please notice that the picture shown of the BLUE sprocket is not correct: the sprocket does NOT have a thread inside the 4 holes. Each of the 4 holes has such a shape that enables the use of double or single sprocket bolts by just turning the sprocket side. Incredibly light and good looking.

So far Im loving this upgrade. Got about 28 miles on it so far without any issues. Have it setup on a cheap walmart Kent Genesis ATF ACT 27.5 that I been building up. Picked up a Shimano crankset so it can easily bolted up. Simple to do job for a big difference. One less cable to deal with and also one less adjustment I have to screw with. Highly recomend it. Also running it with stock rear 7sp cog ring and have no issues.

Ive had it on for ~500 miles and have not dropped a chain yet, despite riding pretty rocky trails. It is noisier than a conventional chainring, but I think thats a narrow-wide thing and not particular to this chanring.

No complaints here! Narrow/wide tooth profile keeps the chain even with considerable crossing. I actually have two of these, one set up for single speed (10 speed cog and chain- NOT an 1/8 chain) on my polo bike, one for my touring rig. Great price too! If you’re thinking of buying, just remember to use the appropriate depth chainring bolts (not included with this) and torque it onto your crank in a star pattern!

Fits perfect on my Race Face crank, of course. No drops but I run a chain guide on my Slash. Easy to convert my 2x10 to a 1x10.

nice chainring... raceface make some real nice part, the narow wide does it job keeping the chain on... you can also run the ring on both side... graphic outside or inside

I used this for my 1x conversion. I havent dropped the chain once between this chain ring, the Race Face bash guard, a properly sized chain (big+2 method), and my X9 Type 2 short cage derailleur. The chain ring still looks great and matches my Race Face crank set.
