Greater than one weekIt is a lighter weight capacity bike lift but works like any other one I have had before, which is just fine. It is easy to install as long as you insure you screw the lift plates securely to a truss through the drywall. I have found that the cleat sold with any bike lift I have bought is cheap and too small for the rope when the bike is lifted. I either buy a bigger one or use two 16d nails driven in at angles.

> 3 dayI just purchased my second lift for my wifes bike, but have had a few issues with this that I managed to correct. First, in the initial set up, the screws did not hold properly so I purchased better ones and that solved that problem. Second, I just bought a new bike and the saddle was designed to tilt up slightly in the back underneath. So after the first lift, a couple hours later we heard a crash in the garage and found that the hooks slid out from under the saddle. No damage to the bike itself but it did cause the bike to push forward and knock some tools off my tool board. I solved future issues by putting a small bungee cord hooked through the hole above the hooks and then looped through the saddle. It keeps the hooks pushed in and acts as a safety net, so to speak should they come off again. Finally, as others have mentioned, the rope is sub par. It works for now but I can see I will need to replace it sometime. Before I mount the second one, Ill just buy a quality rope to start. So, although it works well, the fact that I have to upgrade with screws, a bungee cord for safety and a better rope scores it three stars. I would have gladly paid more up front for a quality upgrade.

> 3 dayYou have to hang it from studs, obviously. Once you get it installed, great way to store you bikes. Gives you more room for other things

Greater than one weekNot as heavy duty as another one I purchased for about the same price, but it does the job and seems to work as well.

> 3 dayThis is a wonderful product from concept to execution! Easy to install and use, it makes hanging a bicycle from a garage ceiling as easy as saying Honey, how about a bike ride? We have two at my house. I expect you will enjoy this bike lift as much as I do!

Greater than one weekI have used this bike lift for 1 1/2 years and it has stood the test of time. I dont put it through its paces very often as my bike tends to stay stored more than it is ridden. Nevertheless, this lift holds the bike securely. It just took me a bit to figure out how to lift both ends of the bike at the same time. This involves using the cord locking mechanism properly. Price was unbelievable, so all in all, well worth the money.
