> 3 dayso happy to have my sons bike off the garage floor. It does not have a kick stand so we were always tripping over it. This took my husband about 45 minutes to install and it is very easy to use. Just a side note, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! They clearly say dont cut the rope. It looks like a ridiculous amount of rope but you really need it all. If you want to cut some after, the full install and bike is mounted at ceiling go for it. Just dont do before that. :)

19-04-2025Not as heavy duty as another one I purchased for about the same price, but it does the job and seems to work as well.

> 3 dayhave two of these. They work well to get the bikes off the garage floor. SImple to set up, simple to use. safe even for kids. Takes about 1-2 minutes to get the bike to the ground or to take it back to the roof.

> 3 daythe product is good and for the price on amazon, it is great. the locking unit works very well and im not worried at all about the bikes falling. Very easy to use, once installed. Cons: - installation cud have been a little easier. and you need to ensure u either put them into beams, or nail up a 2x4 into the beams, then screw the mounts into the 2x4. The odds are not good on a typical adult mountain bike that the mounts will match up w/ yr beams. Build extra time for installation. - the hooks cud catch a little better. the hooks for the seat of the bike dont sit too well, and when the bike is hanging 3 foot over your favorite car in the garage, u dont want to be nervous. Overall, i do recommend the product. and the cons arent that big a deal. installation isnt too bad, as long as u are competent, and the hooks work, but they cud be better.

> 3 dayWorks exactly as advertised. I have it installed about 12 feet above the floor and the lift easily handles this.

> 3 dayPut this in my high ceiling garage. it works... I had to attach a board across my beams to accomodate this lift. Plus my ceiling is rather steep angle. I was going to try to compensate for angle but didnt - too much work. Instructions are weak... not terrible, but I had trouble understanding a few things and kept re-reading - was not as clear as could be on how to thread the nylon string through the pulleys... I also wish it had adjustable mounts to accomodate angled ceilings better. It would be nice, too, if bracket mounts were made to screw into 2x4 ceiling joists. If you have a solid ceiling, especially a flat ceiling, these will be easy to install, if you have a high open ceiling, especially with steep angle, it will require more work and improvising... but once installed, keeps my bike up out of the way.

> 3 dayThese do exactly as they promise and installation was a breeze. The longest time was taken in finding the studs and in making sure that the two pulleys were lined up. Otherwise the directions were clear and with minimal parts it is hard to make a mistake. My only complaint, and it is one raised in other reviews here, is with the rope. The quality of the rope to begin with was not high and it doesnt take any use to see some fraying. We arent avid cyclists so we dont take our bikes up and down a lot, but if we did I would have to question how long the rope would last. If the rope were of higher quality I would have no qualms about giving this product 5-stars. Easy installation and operation, along with a very competitive price (perhaps due to the cheap rope...), make these perfect for getting bikes out of the way in a congested garage.
