Samsung 960 EVO Series - 250GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V6E250BW)

I bought this hard drive a couple of years ago and it has been working great since then. Samsung is a reliable company.

Works great. Booting windows 10 from this and it boots super quick. Only problem is I filled it too quickly so another SSD is in my future shortly

Super fast! Plugged it right into the mobo without any issue. Used a free program to clone my drive... instantly took over as the main c drive and it still works fast today. Definetly reccomend.

So worth it! I debated hard on this but it is definitely worth the price. It is super easy to install, just pop it in and follow the instructions to migrate the data and set it as your default boot drive. I installed it on a customized Dell XPS 8900 desktop purchased in October 2015 and saw an immediate difference. I am a graphic and web designer so I use Adobe Creative Suite daily. Photoshop and Illustrator now load in about 15-20 seconds (compared to 2+ minutes before). This applies to boot time as well. Best of all, I was able to keep my internal hard drive as well so I could keep less important files there without sacrificing space on this SSD. **Important to keep in mind: when setting this as your default boot drive, all of your drives are renamed (my original C drive went to G, etc). I had XAMPP installed on my external hard drive and everything got muddled up since it was linking to the external hard drives original name. So just make sure any relative links/file paths you have are updated.

Love the performance from this SSD, boot time is 2-4 sec. Everything loads super quick too. Simple install and cloning your system is easy with Samsungs software.

Lightening quick fast. To give you an idea, imagine being able to boot Windows 10 in under 10 seconds. Need I say more?

Pros: Super fast. Easy to install. Cons: I spent $300+ and it didnt come with the screw to secure it. Come on. Just for that, 4/5 stars.

Thing is fast. Loading times in games compared to an ssd isnt very noticable as comparing a hdd to ssd
