> 3 dayInstalled in ASUS ROG STRIX GL553VD. Zero issues or complaints. Screaming fast. The data migration tool made for easy transfer on OS. Highly recommend this drive.

> 3 dayIf youre purchasing for use in the PCIe slot (with adapter) be sure to verify motherboard compatibility if you plan to install the OS and boot to it.

> 3 dayWorks like a charm, not as significant of a speed upgrade as hoped, but works great.

> 3 dayCRAZY FAST! On paper this SSD is 6-7 times faster than a SATA SSD. We bought 2 1TB drives for use at work and they are just crazy fast .... I cloned a 1tb drive in about 20 minutes ... NUTS!

> 3 dayReceived it 2 days ago after waiting for almost 3 weeks. But it was well worth the wait. I installed this into the M.2 bay of my Apache Pro 6QF and migrated the OS from the 1TB HDD that came with the laptop using the free Samsung Migration software. After that, I removed the HDD and booted from the SSD. Everything worked without a hitch. The laptop previously took almost a minute to enter Win 10. With the new SSD, it took less than 8 sec. I also downloaded the Samsung Magician and tested read/write speeds which were very close to the figures advertised. Steps to upgrade for laptops with M.2 bays: 1. Open the bottom cover of your laptop and slide in the SSD into the M.2 drive, making sure to secure it firmly using the included screw. 2. Start your system and go into Bios and make sure the SSD is detected. 3. In Windows, go to disk management and initialise your new SSD. After that, it should appear in your Windows explorer. 4. Take the opportunity to rid your old HDD of any unwanted software that you do not wish to be transferred over to your new SSD. 5. Run Samsung Data Migration software to migrate from the old HDD to the SSD. 6. Switch off and take out your old HDD. 7. Reboot and go into BIOS to select the new SSD as top priority in the boot sequence. 8. If everything works fine, your OS should now run from your new SSD. Enjoy!

> 3 daySome minor tweaks after installation and this thing boots my PC in record time. Unbelievably fast file move times, zip/unzips, etc. This is a longer drive, so be wary of that when selecting, but other than that it is an M.2 drive and just works.

> 3 dayOverpriced. You would do better to spend $10 more and get the 970 EVO 1 TB. Double the storage and faster

> 3 dayThe drive is fast. Really fast. Samsung customer support is great, BUT...anyone out there planning on using this SSD with a motherboard that supports XMP and planning on overclocking, dont use this SSD. Ive spent hours troubleshooting and talking on the phone to find out that this SSD and XMP do NOT play well together. My system worked fine for about a week, then just started shutting off instantly after logging in. I first thought it was a Windows issue and reinstalled, but then got a BSoD at boot up saying FILE WINDOWSsystem32winload.exe could not be found. After speaking with Samsung about it, they said overclocking the ram with the SSD will screw it up. On the plus side, if you do not plan on overclocking or do not use XMP, it will be fine. Im going to have to decide if the speed of the SSD is more important than the POTENTIAL speed of my expensive RAM.
