I was in the process of converting all of the fixtures in my condo from a brass finish to brushed nickel. I wanted to update to a modern look without going too soft nor too sharp on the edges. This family of handles provided the perfect balance of everything I was looking for! This was used for all of the interior doors in my place, the presentation was an ideal fit, and the handle holds sturdily. The finish of the handle keeps it from showing a lot scratches (particularly useful for high traffic doors) and the lever design makes it easy to use even when your hands are full. The handle can easily flip facing left or right depending on which way your door swings, and installation is literally done in less than 15 minutes! I installed the keyed version of this for the main entry door and could not be happier with how well the appearance of my entire place has transformed!

I have multiple locks installed by different skilled workmen. The locks a very tricky. If you do not open with a full, 180° pull, the lock will not disengage, and you will lock yourself out. The rectangular back plate is attractive, but does not stay square. None have stayed square. All have moved over time they look terrible.

You can never really tell from a picture on Amazon what the actual item is going to be like. Thank God for Amazons easy return policy. We are slowly upgrading our house as we can afford to. We wanted all replacement items to be reasonably priced, but high quality. These door knobs are about $20 more than the cheapest chintzy knob on the market - and about $10 more than the knobs in the style being sold. Way, way, worth the extra cost. They are beautiful, the weight is heavy - they feel high-quality, and they glide when you use them. They are a good investment. I am delighted, and as we can afford to we will be buying more for all the bedroom/bathroom doors in the house.

I bought this to replace one door in our home and its a perfect match for all our other doors. My hubby installed it with no problem and it feels very sturdy, like Schlage usually does!

I prefer Schlage to similar products. They are solid and usually easy to install. The inside and outside parts join together well and I don’t have to fight the connection. I gave 4 star this time because I needed to *reverse* the lever handles on 4 out of 5 doors. The hole for the pin is small, but the lever pulls off fairly easily. Once off, one needs to do a mock set up to make sure everything is going to be correct once the lever is replaced. There is a slot and a ridge on the center pin that need to be aligned before replacing the lever. It’s hard to describe in words. However, they look great once installed.

Nice looking ‘dummy’ handles, and the ones here at Amazon are great. We bought some of the same brand and style from one of the home improvement stores, and those were loose and junk. These are supposed to be fixed handles and those wobbled and shook like they were ready to fall apart. They were in ‘plastic’ merchandising packages, while our Amazon order came in no nonsense cardboard boxes. They were even a little less expensive and available with Prime. Again, we like the product, but by the time you buy two (one for each side of the door) you are actually paying more than a fully functioning handle with lock. That is the same pricing anywhere, but it seems odd. Again, they look great, but at that price, the retaining piece to prevent the handle from moving should be metal instead of the plastic that it is. That is why the home improvement store versions are junk I just hope these Amazon ones hang in there.

Solid handles, but the push button lock feels a little tight, does not depress much and takes a bit more effort. Perhaps that was purposeful to prevent accidental locking?? Not sure and it is a little nit picky but I dont like it. The same Schlage older handles in my house for over 10 years have been flawless and the lock is a bit easier. Would continue to but this brand . Pn use for over 10 years in my house, no complaints on the old one. T

Needed these to match our Schlage matt black handles in the rest of the house. We have the Schlage model F40ACC622 ion our other doors, so these were perfect for our closet. The handles did come with black screws, but after about 6 months of tugging on them by our kids, one of the handles came off the door. This was due to the closet doors being hollow core, so the screw was only attached to a thin piece of wood. I swapped them out for a 2in bolt that has a washer and nut on the other side of the door. Now they are on tight and I dont have to worry about them getting ripped off the door again.
