This stuff is way too strong! and following the directions almost killed my fish! I used it to reduce my PH from 7.6 but using a 1/4 tsp for my 20 G tank it dropped the PH below 6.0 within a few minutes. My fish are still in shock due to the rapid change and I DONT KNOW IF THEY SURVIVE! it does work! but be cautious because you may end up killing your fish instead. They definitely need better instructions for the product!

works really good at lowering the ph. it only took two treatments to get the ph from extremely high to around 7.4.

I use it to lower my pH in my planted tank to 7.0 . Since I replaced my neutral buffer from seachem with this I have seen the algea melt away. A must have for planted tanks use it with alkaline buffer.

Used the product per instruction and I found a couple healthy big neon tetras (1 inch +) died next couple days after the application. After I stopped using the product and did 50% water changes, the fish stopped dying. No news about my return. Very frustrating.

Great item. It contains no phosphates. Great for shrimp.

It works but DOES NOT TAKE MUCH!!! Will drop pH like a bad habit with a PINCH of the stuff in 125 gallon tank. Won’t raise phosphate and will last for a year or so lol

Okay I really dont know why I bought this. But as the bottle says its great for plants because it softens the water! My local tap water is 0 kh and 0gh. I wasted my money but I guess Ill use it when I move somewhere else

I had Seachem Acid Buffer for years mainly for the aquarium use. Recently I need to remove the rust on my weathered nuts and bolts for the out door swing. I heard that vinegar to removed the rust and thinking why not use this one since it said corrosive on the label. Wow, I got great result. My concentrated dose only takes about 20 minutes and rust were all gone. This is very cheap solution and you got dual usage out of this time. Highly recommended.
