1 of the set of 4 simply wont activate the bluetooth, all 3 remaining did work fine, but that last 1 simply wont. it is to frustating because i had planned already the use of all 4, but it wont happend... 75% effectiveness is not acceptable...

Easy to use, but does NOT work with SmartThings. (I purchased in error, but did at least try these.). If you need ST, you want the other Sengled plugs.

My wifi goes down on a weekly basis and I only stream content. I can’t panned to put on of these on my surge protector, plug my modem’s power in and use my Sengled Home app to turn the power on/off to the modem power to reset my internet instead of going from bedroom to front of house where modem is to power cycle it. For some reason you can’t connect directly to the switch with your phones bluetooth capability. It must have a wifi signal, which defeats me owning this product. Connect to your laptop he via Bluetooth not wifi

1st what to do .i plugged one in and blew a fuse for bedroom bathroom and hallway. I also totally blew out my newest lame which had 2 lights. I called tech he graciously told me to check fuse box .i did but i only was able to fix the fuse when I took out the plug. After I got lights on I tried to simply plug my lamp in. It blew fuse again. I tried other outlet below that one. Again it blew out fuse. So I lost my special up light with spot light I use for cats litter box and tv. The other outlet on same wall I use for roku and boxes. These were used for them and only effected by fuse out. Final analysis I reread instructions. Only 3 steps. I think between 1 & 2 I needed to know clearly the reason to do them. Did not pair with Alexa after multiple tries. Only worked with the Bluetooth app and still didn’t fully connect.

I bought these plugs because I wanted ones that didnt need its own app but would connect directly with Alexa. The first plug worked fine but Alexa does not recognize or discover the remaining three plugs. Troubleshooting suggests downloading the Sengled app. Well, thats exactly what I didnt want to do. So unless I can still return them, theyre going to the garbage.

Had too many smart home devices on 2.4 ghz router. Replaced four WiFi plugs with these, very easy to connect with Alexa, work fine.

Easy to install, enjoy the convenience of having them

I purchased these plugs because they were supposed to painlessly pair with Alexa, but that’s not true. Alex won’t discover the devices in pairing mode and when trying to pair and select the brand, Sengled isn’t available as an option. These plugs also will not work with the Sengled Home app, you have to use the Sengled Bluetooth app which will not pair with Alexa. Do not purchase if you want to pair with Slexa.

When Alexa scans for this plug, it finds it as a switch. Furthermore it will not function as a Bluetooth ONLY device. I bought it to reboot my modem from my phone when WiFi gets jiggie or simply needs it. NOT! The app for this plug/switch needs a major overhaul. Two for the price of one made them keepers once I figured out how the Sengled software doesnt work.
