The product description promised that one can set on/off hours via the Sengled App. I was able to install the switch but the app only give remote on/off option without any programming. Attempts to reach the Sengled support were fruitless. If all you want is manual remote control for on/off, this product will do. I am going to order someone that can be programmable and would actually deliver on its promise.

Ive used several of these, mainly during Christmas to turn on outside lights and Christmas tree. I also had to replace another brands switch that went down. So far Ive been very pleased.

First off, I have Sengled lightbulbs and they are great. They work with the Sengled home app. However, these plugs only work with the Sengled Bluetooth app, meaning your phone has to be nearby with Bluetooth on to control the plugs, since they are not Wi-Fi plugs. That’s not so so bad, I’m home often. But the Sengled Bluetooth app does not have scheduling capabilities! It literally only has an on and off button. So if you are in the house, you can turn the plug on or off from across the house, that’s it. This makes it false advertising for me, as you need an Alexa to schedule the plugs. I tried the Alexa app, but no, you need the actual device.

I started my smart plug collection with Amazons house brand but those are pretty expensive for what they are. These work just the same: similar profile so that it doesnt interfere with the other power outlet and super easy discover devices set up from the Alexa app. I believe there is a Sengled app but, it lived up to its claim that their app is not necessary. Its been a few months and no issues so far.

Like everybody else my bluetooth mesh effing garbage from sengled stopped working and will no longer work . This company should go bankrupt. DO NOT PURCHASE SENGLED TRASH. It will work fine then as others have stated, you will be dead before it ever works again. And shame on amazon for pushing known hack crap on your customers. Eff you SENGLED!

Very easy to connect with Alexa. I had to replace my other smart plugs cause my router didnt support them. I am very spoiled with the smart plugs lol.

These plugs work ok … when they work. I bought a four-pack. I wanted to connect two lights, one in each bedroom and thought having a couple extra for future use was a good idea. Turned out, I needed the extras now. Plugged them in and waited for Alexa to find them. The first plug I tried wouldnt connect to either of the lights at all. Just failed out of the box. The next two are ok--sort of. One works fine all the time. The other not so much. It frequently wont connect. Tried in both rooms with similar outcomes. At first, I attributed the sporadic function to some sort of interference with the Christmas lights plugged in the same outlet. Then Christmas was over, and lights put away, but the plug still functioned intermittently. Then I thought it might be a line of sight issue. Nope. Most annoying, because itll work function fine, then ten minutes later say the lamp isnt responding. Very odd....and annoying. I havent yet tried the fourth plug. I have to say that my first smart plug was an Amazon plug for my living room and it has never failed to function, even though the plug is about 25ft away from Alexa. These Sengled plugs are only a 1-2 feet from the lights. So now it’s a year later and both plugs never improved. Still intermittent.

Followed instructions, and worked well at the start. Within a few days, Alexa said the plug was unresponsive. I turned on the light OK, but would not turn it off. Instead, I bought an electro-mechanical unit that works just as needed.
