> 24 hourI was looking for a light-weight vacuum to do the hallway upstairs to keep from lugging the heavy duty vacuum up-and-down the stairs. Even though it does the job and very well, I find it to be extremely top heavy and it blows hot air on me as I am using it. I havent read any other reviews about the air blowing, but after using it I can see that since the motor is pointed right at the upper body how else could it be. I think I would have been better off with the old fashioned, cheap vacuum. It has great suction and seems to work well, but I wouldnt recommend it for larger areas especially for summer vacuuming.

> 24 hourThis Shark HZ602 Ultralight Pet Pro with PowerFins and Self-Cleaning Brushroll, Comet Red is a powerful tool in a package that looks good and doesnt weigh too much. I went into this assuming the Pet Pro part of this was just some overblown marketing bs, but it actually made a believer out of me with how well it specifically worked with getting pet hair off rugs and upholstery. Suction power is deceptively powerful, because youd expect something with this much oomph to weigh more, but this is a nimble little thing that can be easily maneuvered wherever you need it to go. Overall, I was blown away by how well this performed the task of removing pet hair, while also having sneaky power that comes in a lightweight package. 5/5 stars.

> 24 hourThis was my second Shark corded stick. My first one was duo clean with front roller. Silly me thought this vacuum was also , it is not. Purchased the HZ602 June 2022 and it is basically shot now. Never completely picked up the dirt. Had to go back and forth over the dirt to get it. This past weekend it has lost 90% of suction power. This is after clean everything completely. It was only used downstairs for my hardwood floors , 7x10 rug and a runner. This vacuum never lived up to my first Shark and I am disappointed in the HZ602. You would think you would get more than 8 months out of a seldom used vacuum.

> 24 hourWe have had a few stark vacuums over the years. Defiantly the smallest and strongest. Defiantly takes care of hair issue area easily. Only con, runs super hot. The unit gets hot enough that I feel down the road it will shut down due to over heating. Hasn’t yet.

> 24 hourUp until this Shark HZ602 Ultralight Stick Vac, we have always owned a canister vac. Shark is my go to brand and we LOVE our high powered vacuum. It is several years old and hasnt lost any of its cleaning power. I was hoping for a similar experience with this vacuum. I do not have anything else to compare it to in the way of stick vacs. We never had the use for one as we always had carpeted flooring. We just recently had an entire floor of our home done in LVP flooring so I wanted a separate vacuum for that flooring. (so we can keep one vacuum on each level of our home) I really do like the look of the vac! Its sleek, stylish, and the Comet Red color is lovely. It isnt overly bulky, is easy to carry around, and doesnt take up much space. I am not thrilled with the fact that it doesnt stand up on its own. It has to be leaned up against a wall otherwise it topples over backwards. It would be nice if it came with some kind of docking station to help keep it upright when not in use. The cord is on the shorter side. This isnt a huge deal but I do have to relocate the plug to other outlets more often than I do with my other vacuum. The dust bin is VERY small. I may be spoiled by the large dust canister of our other Shark vacuum but for this reason, I would only use this for small jobs. There is no way I could clean the entire house, with aaallll of the pet hair, without having to dump the canister multiple times. I do love the hand held vacuum option. I have been using this a lot. Its lightweight and makes vacuuming our LVP stairs a cinch! The powerfins feature is quite interesting. I am ALWAYS cleaning and cutting hair out of our other vacuum with a bristle roller. Its a real PAIN! This eliminates that completely! The most important factor with ANY vacuum is the power and suction. This is where this product fell a little short for me. It is wonderful for using on a flat, even surface like LVP. It sucks up pet hair and other fuzzies with ease. However, I tried using it on an area rug and also our memory foam bath rugs. It just didnt do a great job. It seems to glide over the surface of the rugs, picking up any hair or fuzz that may be gently sitting on top, but it just doesnt get down deep enough to grab anything that has been walked on several times. This was a bit disappointing as our cats love sitting on those memory foam rugs for some reason. They get covered in pet hair easily and this vacuum just doesnt leave them squeaky clean like our other Shark. Overall, its still a good vacuum, but I would honestly stick to a canister vac as it seems to have more suction and better cleaning capabilities.

> 24 hourShark has switched to a different wheel that no longer pushes back when you set it up straight, stabilizing the base. With the new wheels, it no longer is stabilized and will not stand up on its own. You have to set it down or prop it up against something. Ridiculous. I returned mine within 30 minutes of opening it and putting it together and wish I had looked in detail at the low ratings. I dont care how well it does its job, the design is not good. When I returned it to a big chain that starts with K they had all the Shark models on display and I had hoped to find one that WOULD stand on its own as I have loved the Shark that I bought 3 years ago....but no. They were ALL propped up with bars so they would appear to be standing on their own. I ended up getting another brand, and because of the discount that the store taking returns gives, I got a great machine and saved a TON!

> 24 hourI bought this to use on my lower level floor which is luxury vinyl tile so I wouldnt have to lug my vacuum downstairs. It works well. Goes pretty far under the couch. Picks up the cat litter my cats track in from the basement. Its pretty easy to empty the cannister. The only cons, which I can live with, are that it doesnt stand alone, has to lean against something, and the detachable handheld part isnt that convenient to detach and use, I rarely use it. But overall I would recommend it if you are looking for a lightweight vacuum, much easier to use than a broom.

> 24 hourThis is a great stick vacuum! I needed a vacuum capable of cleaning both my upstairs (carpet) and downstairs (vinyl with a few rugs). I also needed something light enough to cart up and down the stairs, AND I wanted to be able to use it on my carpeted stairs too. I have a dog and long-haired cat that shed, plus a toddler, so the carpet part is very important to me. After researching dozens of stick vacuums, I decided to try this one because of the lower price point and the reviews about how well it vacuumed carpets. I am very impressed! It works SO well on both floor types and makes cleaning the stairs extremely easy. I love how easy it is to switch between using the attachments and the stick vac, and it picks up everything my old, huge regular vacuum wouldn’t (kitty litter, fur embedded in the carpet). I also like that it comes with a 5 year warranty. The only big negative for me is that it does not stand up by itself. This makes stopping to move toys or other objects out of the way a little tricky. Other than that, GREAT BUY!
