July 19, 2022: I have a corded Shark that I love, but I dont get it out often enough because of the cord. So I bought the cordless. I keep it in the kitchen and use it daily. VERY convenient, easy to use, my long hair and the cat hair are not a problem. I usually end up vacuuming everything once I get started, so the floors are looking much better. The only issue I have is emptying the receptacle. I empty after each use and I usually have to use my fingers to get the last of the hair/dirt out. THATs kinda yucky. But I love the convenience and the cleaning power, so Ill learn to live with that issue. Ive owned it about six weeks - I will update, if needed, as time go by. Sept 25, 2022 Hair is stuck around the front small wheels and we had a terrible time getting the wheels off and putting them back in. Did some checking on amazon and wheels are not available for purchase. The wheels on this unit are thicker on one side than the other. All wheels on amazon have the same width for axle. I checked the Shark website and the wheels are not shown as available.

I bought this vacuum on sale, and I’ve been using it for over 6 months. So, I will say that you should probably wait for their sale. I do not see the difference comparing to the Dyson. I use it on higher power all the time, and never had problem with battery.

I was looking for a cordless vacuum that can be used on any type of floor and has good suction and this so far has been worth every penny I love it!!

Overall, its a nice vacuum and great for hair given the squeegy style roller. But, wont stand on its own so storing isnt great. Also, unlike other Shark vacs I have, there is no front roller for against walls so misses about an inch near walls.

I am so impressed with this vacuum. My hoover went kaput after several years. I decided to update my vacuum. I was pleased to read about a vacuum that will not get wraps of hair in the brush! I have very long hair. I have 5 dogs as well. Nearly every other cleaning I had to haul the vacuum unto the bed, get a plastic bag and scissors and cut the length of the brush line and pull out all that hair. I knew I wanted a plugless, battery charged, stick vacuum. When I discovered Shark had one that claims a new design that would not get hair caught in the brush, I had to try it. It really works!!! I love it, highly recommend it! It also has a trigger for extra power when needed. I require it doing the carpets in the room with all the hair. Shark has extra tools for special jobs. The only con I can say about my shark is when using the attachments it feels a bit awkward using the pet hair attachment when I use on my bed comforter and sheets. I may have to just get used to the aerodynamics. This Shark runs 4 times longer with a charge than my hoover.

Suction: I didnt expect this to compete with my full size Dyson, but it is still a little underwhelming. It is pretty much useless on even short carpet. It does decently well on hard floors, and is more comfortable to use than a handvac, but it still has about the same suction as my cheap oldschoool handvac. Battery life: Pretty good, I havent run out of juice yet when cleaning. Noise: Its very quiet compared to my other vacuums, a ball dyson, cheap handvac, shopvacs. Charging: I thought this one came with a dock, thats on me for not reading it well. Leaning it against the wall and hunting for the charging cable gets a little annoying when you only needed it for a 30 second job. Overall: I think I would have gone with the similar LG model.

I had a corded shark upright vacuum for years and it works great. I purchased this to do a quick vacuum to keep up with the cat hair. I was not disappointed. It has great suction and the trigger boosts the suction for stubborn crumbs in corners. It does well on the throw rugs and door matts as well.

It pulls pet hair from the carpet real good but not from the sofa.

The vacuum is amazing however I had to take off stars for the misleading description. As you can see from my screenshot of the listing, it clearly states that a pet multi-tool and anti-allergen brush are to be included. When I opened it there was only the crevice tool and the regular dusting brush. As you can see from my 2nd photo (of the box I received), it was clearly NOT meant to include those other 2 tools as advertised nor were they included in a separate box. And as you can see from my 3rd photo, the model number matches up with the listing so it is obvious I was not sent the wrong item. Very disappointed considering I am a pet owner and those 2 tools were a huge reason I chose this vacuum and I was not expecting to have to purchase them separately.

I like that this is a lightweight vacuum and the suction power is pretty strong for a cordless cleaner. I have the 50 min run time battery and runs true to timing. It picks up hair and dog hair with no problem and has never clogged. It grabs up fine silt like dirt and dust with no issues. I can easily clean my stairs and go from carpet to hardwood floor with a flip of a switch. It has very thick, washable (with water ONLY) filters that traps alot of fly away dust and pollen. If there was anything I would change, its the size of the dust container. Im dumping it several times during cleaning...so that alone shows how much this Shark vac is actually picking up! My home seems fresh and clean when Im finished and getting under the beds and couches is a breeze.
