I have been a vacuum connoisseur since I was a teenager - my Mom kept a clean house and I inherited her enjoyment of a clean house. Vacuuming is my favorite house chore - it actually relaxes me, so I always enjoy having a great vacuum that is easy to use. Right now, we have four doggos - Husky/GSD/Malamute mix, Husky/GSD/Dingo mix, GSD/Cattledog mix, and a purebred Carolina Dog (American Dingo). As you can imagine - we have a LOT of fur around here. My dogs literally shed twice a year - six months in the spring and six months in the fall. :) I vacuum the entire house at least once a day and sometimes twice. Ive had several cordless vacs - two from Dyson, one from Bissell, and two from Shark. The Dysons were dismal at picking up fur, and the Bissell was worse. And dont even get me started on the robot vacuums - we have had four (Roombas, Bobi, and Eufy) - completely ineffective and a waste of money. I got my first Shark Rocket Pet Pro vacuum in 2017, and I cant say enough about it! I have vacuumed up tons of fur with it, and it has always had great suction, great power, and its easy to keep it clean. I just replace the filters on it every month or two, and thats all the maintenance it needs. That poor vacuum died last week (through no fault of its own). I spent three days researching cordless vacuums, and kept coming back to the Shark Rocket Pet Pro. I bought a second to replace the first, and am still in love with this vacuum. Bonus: The new one that I bought has the upgraded handle with the hook for the motor, so it can stand on its own and be easily stored. The ONLY issue I have with this vacuum (and its not a huge problem): The self-cleaning brushroll is AMAZING! But - I have to stop once in a while and pull a ball of white Husky fur out of the floor attachment - the hole behind the brushroll that takes the debris up the long rod to the dustcup gets clogged (I tried to show a picture of it). When this gets blocked, the vacuum wont pick anything up. Again, not a deal breaker, especially with the self-cleaning brushroll, but it is the one less-than-perfect aspect of this unit. And Im probably the only one in the world with this issue, because I have my beautiful fur-factory doggos running around here. :) Overall, I adore this cordless vac and will recommend it to everyone!

As the title states, it makes me miss my older, brush roller, Shark stick vacuum. My older model had better suction, better cleaning heads, real bristles instead of these power blades for better deep cleaning on carpets. The power blades cant really pull granules out of my rugs and capret like the older skark did. The older model battery only lasted about 12 minutes on high power mode, this one lasts about 25 min. The ergonomics are strange, with 2 modes for carpet and hard floor (probably why the battery lasts longer), you have the option to pull the trigger for max suction for a temporary spot. I found myself strapping on a zip tie to keep it on permanently because it just wouldnt pick up granules on my hardwood floor, defeating the purpose for multi modes, its always in carpet, max suction mode for my needs. Its small enough to work under beds and dressers, lays all the way flat to get under things which is nice. My biggest gripe, you have to sperate the vacuum to stand it up for storage. I ended up putting a carabineer on it and hanging it so I didnt increase wear and tear on the unit. My old Shark could just be parked upright. For pet application it probably is fine. Hair is light and would suck up hair well... most likely. I purchased this vacuum for anti allergen properties, but I dont have pets. Cleaning is a breeze with the dump cup and quick access to the filter. Cleaning immediately after is recommended, I found that after a few days the filter can build up and make the suction even worse, but thats what its for! I purchased while I was moving and unfortunately didnt start using it until the return window had closed, so Im stuck with this vacuum, but if I were to do it over, Id look for the next model up, something with better ergonomics or more powerful suction with bristles.

Had to replace an older model shark navigator vacuum we have had for about 7-8 years. Really wanted a cordless and this one with the power fins and no hair wrap was attractive as pulling hairs out of brush roll was the most annoying part of vacuuming! Did quite a bit of research and found this one from good reviews on social media, so decided to get it. First time using it was surprising! So much dust and hair and it had only been about 48 hours since last vacuum with the old shark! Gross to see all the dirt and hair the old vacuum wasn’t picking up! This shark is light weight, pretty quick charge (3 hours) , easy to use. So far , so good!

Love almost everything about this vacuum. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it does seem to clog really easily. It is really easy to clean, however.

Love my cordless vacuum! Good bye brooms never want to see one again! It’s super easy to use picks up very good. I have pets so it picks up all the dog hair, dust, trash, etc. I wasn’t sure which cordless vacuum to buy , but this one is awesome!

This is light weight, lasts a decent amount of time between charging and is great for spot cleaning the floors, both carpet and hard settings. If you have a lot of pets, you will have to empty the container more often, but it keeps the house looking clean.

My Shark vacuum stopped holding a charge less than a year after purchase. When I called customer service about my device not holding a charge, I was asked to pay $20 plus $10 shipping for a new charger, as this was apparently not covered under the warranty. The new charger did not change the fact that my Shark vacuum does not hold a charge, so I called customer service again. Customer service said they would send me a new device, though I would have to pay ANOTHER $20 or $30 for shipping. This was two weeks ago and I have no new device nor even a tracking link to show for the exorbitant shipping fee I paid on top of paying for the useless new charger. Customer service is clearly set up to get the customer to spend even more money before they will bother to help you. I was impressed by the product while it worked but the nickel-and-diming from customer service has ensured that next time, I will purchase a Dyson.

This shark attempts to copy the Dyson in many areas. Some things are ok and others not so great. This is a pet vacuum to begin. See the attached pic of the two front rollers jammed with hair. Brilliant, the roller bar doesnt get hair stuck but the wheels that help it roll get jammed?! This happens day one not months into cleaning. Not so well thought out. This needs to be redesigned and recall the current vacuum head. That aside everything else is fine except suction could be better. The standard setting is weakish while the full power mode works pretty well but zaps the battery pretty quick. Ohh and no tool storage means youll be trying to figure that out next. The vacuum is ok if its on super sale and I mean way less than its Dyson rival. I would probably have returned it if I kept the box and spent more on the Dyson. I have a plug Dyson ball and zero issues. So after reading this if you purchase, just keep the box so if it doesnt work out send it back in the return window. The vacuum does work and if it could overcome these few things it would be a really good vacuum. But as is be aware. **** update: 3 months owning this. Bought a dyson. Still own the shark, but it’s now just a crevice vac. Pet hair messes up the rollers and leaves big lines in the carpet. The rollers can be cleaned sort of by ripping them out. But so often?? We’ll see how the newest dyson stick does. This didn’t cut it. ****

EDIT: After many emails back and forth with Shark, they finally agreed to send me the missing attachments. Took a few months to get all of them, as they sent 1 at a time as they became available, but I have them all now. As I said before, the vacuum works great and my only reason for the initial 1 star review was that I didnt receive all the attachments. Now that I have them, Ill change to a 4 star review. Taking off one star because I had to work way harder than I should have had to to get them -- and because they are STILL advertising as included the parts that Shark says are not included. This works great to get the cat hair out of my carpet, BUT the only attachment I received was the crevice tool. I dont want to return it, but is there any way the 2 dusting brushes pictured can be sent to me? UPDATE: Per the product description, WHATS INCLUDED: Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum, Crevice Tool, Dusting Brush, Pet Multi-Tool and Anti-Allergen Brush. The only attachment I got was the crevice tool. Amazon says my only recourse is to return the item or work with Shark. Dont want to return it, as I love the vacuum and it was a Black Friday deal. I contacted Shark, and they say the items are NOT included, but I can purchase them (at a cost of almost $60, plus tax and shipping). Aint gonna do that either. So Im changing my review to 1 star for lousy customer service. Neither Amazon nor Shark wants to take credit for the false advertising. Buyer beware.

For a bagless stick vac, this will do what 95% of the people want. I cant speak to the battery life. It runs easily for 20 mins though. Weve never run it longer than that. It picks up most things going forward, but pulling backward just sweeps things back so it doesnt suck things up in both directions. It also has a tendency to get clogged with hair and dust. However, its an easy machine to unclog as the pieces snap apart and back together very easily. For the amount you save vs a Dyson or other higher priced stick vacs, its still a good vacuum and wed buy it again.

The Shark Cordless Anti-Allergen Pet Power has incredible suction, a self-cleaning brushroll to eliminate hair wrap, and PowerFins technology for deep cleaning on carpets and floors. Engineered to emit clean air, Anti-Allergen Complete Seal technology is perfect for those sensitive to dust, allergens, and dander, keeping them out of the air you breathe.
