> 3 dayI won a Dyson V8 Animal Vacuum about two years ago, in a work contest. I ended up moving homes, and my original house became a rental. I kept the Dyson at the rental, and decided that I wanted to get a cordless vacuum for the permanent residence. I went with this vacuum, as I used to always love the Shark lineup of products. The price on this vacuum is fairly comparable to the Dyson. I cannot express this strongly enough, the Shark is an absolute embarrassment compared to the Dyson. The suction is weak by comparison, the detailing brushroll marks that make the look of the carpet pop, are almost nonexistent. Shark boasts that the battery lasts for 40 minutes per charge. NOPE. Barely ten minutes, since the very day that I got the machine. I have literally given this six months for it to grow on me, and I could not be more disappointed. For the price, get anything else. I will never buy a Shark again, despite always being a huge fan. I am incredibly disappointed, and wish i would have returned it and gotten my money back. Could not be more disappointed.

> 3 dayI have 5 cats - 2 of them are older Maine Coons who have long hair and at the age where it sheds easily. I also have long hair. I got really tired of sweeping my downstairs twice a day from cat litter, etc. All but my bedroom downstairs has the fake wood flooring (no better way to describe it). In recent years, Ive owned two Dyson Ball vacuums and neither have ever worked well and have needed frequent repairs. Ive also owned a Shark Rocket vacuum and while it was easier to maneuver, the hose just below the floor attachment cracked and duct tape wouldnt cut it anymore. So.... I bought this one on Black Friday this past November. I really didnt care that one of the accessory attachments was missing - hardly use those anyway. Using this twice a day has made my upper arm chronically sore, but still easier than sweeping morning and night. Pros: it did what I wanted it to do and made my daily cleaning a lot easier, (other than the sore arm!). It sits nicely up close against a wall and easy to keep charged. Its also true that hair does NOT get wrapped around the brushes! I got very tired of having to cut out the hair every time I used my other Shark Rocket vac. Cons: One of the same reasons I hated my Dyson vacs, getting the hair out of the canister requires using my hands to sweep or pull it out. All the filters in the world in bagless vacuums are useless when you end up attempting to empty the canister! Plus the cat litter forms a powder that leaves a residue in the canister. Also, hair wound around the tiny front wheels in the first couple of uses and is virtually impossible to get back off. I dont even think they can turn anymore and its been less than 2 months since I started using this machine. The bigger back wheels also squeak now. While the vacuum has plenty of suction power to pick up litter, cat food crumbs, etc., it will only do so when vacuuming forwards. Pulling the vacuum backwards, causes these things to be spit back out. I have yet to take this machine upstairs where I have all carpet. It does fine in the one room downstairs, so Im not sure how it would do running it longer upstairs (still use one of my Dysons up there). So, my review is incomplete. Like I said, its also only been 2 months since I purchased this. This is my first cordless vacuum and I love the cordless factor. Its definitely kept my floors downstairs much cleaner than just sweeping (cut down on need to mop, which I hate) and my bedroom carpet has been much easier to keep under control, because its much easier to use than my previous vacuum cleaners. However, with all the issues already present (especially with the wheels), its questionable how long this thing will last. Well have to wait and see, I guess.

> 3 dayGreat vacuum, but its missing 2 extensions listed on the product details; pet-tool and the anti-allergy tool. If they are able to fix this, its 5 stars

> 3 dayHave only had this for a day now but we’ve got lots of hair from two dogs so here’s the good and the bad! Pros: powerful suction, headlights makes it easier to see hair and dander, attachments are easy to switch out, light and easy to use/store away, glides around and under hard to reach areas. Cons: no place to store separate attachments, battery life isn’t very long and takes a while to get to a full charge.

Greater than one weekI had high hopes for this vacuum. Shark is my go to brand for vacuums. This holds a charge to vacuum the whole house, which isn’t huge. At first the auction power was great. After a month or so, it is merely average. We have two furry dogs and although it does pick up the dog hair, it doesn’t always suck it into the canister. It gets caught at the vacuum head hole to the stick. Also the stick doesn’t stay tight fitting. It becomes loose. If I want a quick way to vacuum in a pinch I use this. If I want to be certain I have vacuumed the floors thoroughly, I use my real vacuum.

Greater than one weekThe dusting brush was not included as the image shows and description states. Talked to Shark rep and no resolve as far as sending me one free of charge. Can order one for $9.95 + tax and shipping = $19.92. It is heavier than some other competitors that are comparable models. It should NEVER be okay to advertise something and deviate from the description unless noted somehow.

> 3 dayNice vacuum for quick cleaning small areas. Super handy when needing to reach to ceiling corners and narrow areas. Suction could be better, but it does fine as is.

> 3 dayJust got this today. Easy to assemble. Only got two attachments instead of the What was shown. It works pretty good. This is my first cordless vacuum so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m a senior with arthritis in both wrists. Changing out the attachments were a little difficult for me and it weighed more than I thought it would. My son and husband helped me. I like the convenience of not dragging around a cord. It does charge quickly. If it were not for my arthritis I would probably be over the moon. That’s not Sharks fault. If only it were lighter…..

> 3 dayThis is the biggest disappointment of a vacuum Ive ever purchased. Maybe if it cost $50 Id be ok with it or just a little dustbuster. If you are using this to clean up anything besides a little dirt, all it does is pick it up, spin it around and spit it back out. I was looking for something versatile and smaller for my single family home and at first all I only really used it for was quick pick ups of sand or dirt from my toddler dragging in. Seemed ok at first, but after about a month (with regular cleaning of the head and everything else) it wouldnt even pick up a small amount of paper confetti. I have lots of trees and little bits of dried leaves get tracked in constantly, and this vacuum cant even pick up a dime size dried leaf. Please dont waste your money on this product. Its terrible and they should all be broken down for parts and used as art pieces, that way it will at least be useful.

> 3 dayWOW!!!! I bought this after my Hoover stick vacuum (R.I.P) died after years of good service but this Shark is the BEST! It picks up the dirt, fur, feathers, hair, whatever and even works great on carpets. It can go under couches, chairs, tables, in corners just about anywhere. Then you just pop off the top off it and its a hand held vac. It runs off a single charge long enough for me to get my whole house done (2700 sq. ft.) and the beauty is that Im not dragging a cord along with me. I love it, so much so that I bought one for my son and his wife. Highly recommend this vac.
