> 3 dayThis is a lite unit, and does not have the full functionality of the s31 switch, but has most of the price.

> 3 dayGreat for high amperage devices. I wanted a smart plug that could handle 15 amps to control an electric heater with Alexa. This fit the bill.

> 3 dayI have no issue with Sonoff. I have been more satisfied with Sonoff than with the Amazon Smart Pulgs that I own. First: this package delivery was on my porch instead of Amazon Key inside the safety of the garage when I was out of town. Second: Upon opening the Amazon package, I found the Sonoff box had been opened (see photograph) and apparently the Sonoff device had been compromised. I returned this Sonoff smart plug. 5 Stars for Sonoff, 0 for Amazon for the delivery and apparently used and compromised product.

> 3 dayWorks well to turn on and off any AC powered plug-in device. Integrates easily through eWeLink and Siri.

> 3 dayYou have to download the welink app. Not a fan of apps bc I use home assistant but it is what it is. When you set it up, look at the top for wifi, not bluetooth. Save you a few minutes of being frustrated. Works fine with Alexa, google, and smartthings. Easy integration.

> 3 dayMoving to a fully local control system and these fit right in. I flashed them with ESP-Home and dropped them into Home Assistant with no issues.

> 3 dayUse caution when ordering these. I didn’t realize there were two versions of the S40 Lite, Zigbee and Wi-Fi. I bought this version by mistake, and while they’re returnable, I don’t have a UPS store near me and Amazon won’t provide a free return label for a pickup. The Wi-Fi version does not seem to be as well supported in home assistant, the add on provided for it only seems to provide a Lovelace card and not a proper device, so as far as I can tell so far it can’t be used in automations. The s40 version also can’t be flashed with alternate firmware, so it’s usability with home assistant is limited.
