These are great. I dont need the energy monitoring so saving money to skip that is perfect. Flashing tasmota was super easy, I used like hook leads so I didnt have to solder or anything. A UL or ETL mark is what I have been waiting for with sonoff.

Works well to turn on and off any AC powered plug-in device. Integrates easily through eWeLink and Siri.

I have been using Sonoff sockets, S20s and S31s, for a couple of years. I have about 10 of them currently operating in two houses, none have failed. I do reprogram them with the Arduino IDE. They use an ESP chip from Expressif which are very reliable. So this a rating for the hardware, I have never used their cloud service or software.

I read somebody else’s review that said it worked with 5 G however, I was not able to make it work with mine. My equipment is supposed to be able to adjust down to 2.4 g. THIS IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE MANUFACTURER because they clearly state that it is for 2.4 g.

If you are not persistent, you will not easily connect this device to your wifi network. What I found works best is to scan the QR code on the device, and VOILA, the magic happens. Going the more conventional route by using the tradtional methods to add this device to your wifi network will result in unneecssary frustration IMO - I speak from experience.

First it took a very long time to sync, then when I moved the device to a different outlet (closer to the router) to failed to sync. Sending back and getting from a different company

Very easy installation using the ewelink app, and easy linking to Alexa.
