Gotta love this vendors principle of remaining hacker friendly. Litterally 5 minutes to take apart hook up with a flashkit and get it running Tasmota!

First it took a very long time to sync, then when I moved the device to a different outlet (closer to the router) to failed to sync. Sending back and getting from a different company

This is a lite unit, and does not have the full functionality of the s31 switch, but has most of the price.

Even with the new UL listing they kept the WiFi portion the same so it is easy to flash with open source firmware. Super easy to open as it is not glued, all held together with screws. Rare to see that with smart plugs!

I read somebody else’s review that said it worked with 5 G however, I was not able to make it work with mine. My equipment is supposed to be able to adjust down to 2.4 g. THIS IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE MANUFACTURER because they clearly state that it is for 2.4 g.

Was faulty returned I have other sonoff items and like so im sure just a bad one return was easy

Got these because they are easy to open and easy to flash with Tasmota so I dont need to go through Sonoff servers to control my lights. They arrived on time, were easy to get working and as I type this, they are controlling lamps in my house controlled by a Raspberry Pi running Node Red over MQTT while I am out of town. So far, I am a happy camper.
