Ive had this light 7 years and its still going the only thing is the battery is on the way out.

This is one of my favorite flashlights. Super bright, so I can see even in the daytime.

Regarding the old flashlight that I replaced: I sent that back to the factory in Eagleville, PA and for a nominal of about 13 dollars they replaced the old batteries for me assuring it will last for another 10 years. I placed the old light in my basement for usage since I often need a light in my work area there. The new Stinger is a incredibly powerful light when contrasted with the previous model stinger. When I took it outside in my yard area on the darkest night it had unbelievable power to cast a beam about 10X brighter and farther than the old model probably due to the new bulbs Streamlight is using in this model. I am very impressed with this light and sense I will be using it for many years to come. I really cant imagine Streamlight coming up with a better more powerful rechargeable flashlight in the next 10 years but they surely surprised me by creating this model.....

First off it’s a very exceptional bright light with excellent battery life and durable especially for Minnesota climate during the winter month’s. I’ve used this while on patrol and checking out secure areas, with incredible brightness with dark winter cloudy skies, fog, works well in wooded areas.

Works wonders as a replacement for my LEOs replacement flashlight for his duty belt. Its bright, re-chargeable, and is bright for all scenarios. Lightweight for carry, easy to get the right setting and durable, no matter how many times its removed from the holster or bumped on something by accident.

Purchased this flashlight on March 17, 2017 and today is July 23, 2020. I am in law enforcement and I purchased this flashlight for on duty work. I work out in the county where having a good light source is essential. This Streamlight has NEVER let me down. I keep it charged all the time and even with near constant use, directing traffic or performing everyday duties that require light, it has never once given out on me. I have had to run through fields and light up alley ways and this light always provides enough light to help keep me safe in dark environments. If I had to say something negative, it would NOT be the battery life, durability or brightness. I do think it is a little big to have to carry on a duty belt and it can run a little warm with constant use (Not intolerable). All in all, if you can get past those things or you are simply not using it in the same compacity I am, then you will get years of awesome and dependable use out of this flashlight. I highly recommend it!
