> 3 dayI bought HPL with the Piggyback Charger and it came with a spare battery. I couldn’t find that info in the description or reviews. 1 battery in the flashlight and a spare battery in the charger. Flashlight looks well built and I am counting on years of service.

> 3 dayBrighter than the regular led stinger. Shines farther tighter beam. Battery doesnt last long so I keep it on the charger when not using it. Always ready to go. Durable from whatever height other than the lens. Direct hit can put a crack in it but I haven’t had one shatter. Overall a powerful light I have 8 of them keep them in every truck, house, shop, etc on mounted Chargers. worth the money. Don’t get a cheapo

> 3 dayMy neighbors will grow to hate this flashlight. I point it at the sky and aliens from distant galaxies shield their eyes. Im pretty sure this is what was in the Arc of the Covenant that melted that Nazi Archeologists face. I would say this is akin to a police helicopter search light, with just a narrower beam. Not joking on that. I live in a suburb of a major city, but have a huge back yard (about 200 yards). Got this flashlight to see what the dogs are barking at without having to get my lazy arse out of the house. My neighbors house is another 200 yards on the other side of my property line (so a total of 400 yards) and this flashlight lights up the whole side of his house.

> 3 dayI use this every night at work. I charge it every other day and I have not had any issues with the battery running low. I have also dropped it a few times and it keeps working. The lights bright and I specially like the strobe function to get the attention of people. Update: I bought this flashlight January 2013 and used it for work every night (primary flashlight as I had immediate access to another one). I’ve retired since (law enforcement) and today, March 2020, this flashlight still works perfectly fine. I’ve dropped it numerous times, (not recommended), it’s been soaked (working in heavy rain) and left in the charger for a month (when I was in vacation) and still works great! Today, I travel A LOT and it’s something I don’t leave home without. NOTE: I did have to replace the battery as it stopped holding a charge after 6 years.

> 3 dayI use this flashlight as a backup/secondary flashlight for police work. I keep a smaller streamlight on my vest for quick access, vehicle searches, or other small needs. This light is great when I know I’m going to be searching a larger area and need more “throw” of light. Nothing is worse then being in a dark area and your primary flashlight dies. Since this light lives in my patrol bag, it tends to be charged and ready when the other one dies. It’s the same quality as my other streamlights.

> 3 dayRegarding the old flashlight that I replaced: I sent that back to the factory in Eagleville, PA and for a nominal of about 13 dollars they replaced the old batteries for me assuring it will last for another 10 years. I placed the old light in my basement for usage since I often need a light in my work area there. The new Stinger is a incredibly powerful light when contrasted with the previous model stinger. When I took it outside in my yard area on the darkest night it had unbelievable power to cast a beam about 10X brighter and farther than the old model probably due to the new bulbs Streamlight is using in this model. I am very impressed with this light and sense I will be using it for many years to come. I really cant imagine Streamlight coming up with a better more powerful rechargeable flashlight in the next 10 years but they surely surprised me by creating this model.....

> 3 dayMy #75784 Streamlight Stinger didnt get to experience any use. The item arrived in previously used condition. The light its self had multiple scratches on the barrel of the flashlight. The spare battery had been removed from its box location and was already installed in the charging dock. The electrical charger cord had been unwound and sloppily rewound with the wire tie strap drifting around in the box. The flashlight its self had been removed from its box and was shipped already snapped into the charger unit! This item was without any doubt, a return that wasnt examined, and it was just shipped out again to me. Buyers beware!
