Greater than one weekVery bright and just the right size. I live on 3 acres and taking the dog out at night can be very daunting for me. This lights up the yard perfectly!

> 3 dayI love that I was able to find this light with a duty holster that is also top of the line. It is a little difficult to get in and out of an unmounted charge base. I just need to decide where to locate the flashlight on the wall. Shining this light in my backyard, is about the same as both headlights on my Jeep, which is equipped with factory led bulbs. I had trouble getting my a/c adapter to put out current, but it suddenly started working. The light comes with two charge bases, cigarette lighter plug with cord, and a/c adapter. Youre good in both home and vehicle to mount and charge the light.

> 3 day5 stars if you get a new one. You recieve: 1 piggy back charger, 2 cords both go to the charger. One goes to the wall outlet the other to the cigarette lighter in your car. 2 batteries. 1 rubber cap for spare battery transport. Whats a piggy back charger? A charger you can charge your flashlight with the battery in it, and charge the spare battery at the same time which is located in a different slot on said charger. Where does the rubber cap go when spare battery is not in transport? On top of the unit which is indented to hold the cap. Hope this helps. P.S. i didnt get paid for this review however I did recieve what appeared to be a used flashlight and sent it back opting to get the most expensive package for this flashlight.

Greater than one weekPurchased this flashlight on March 17, 2017 and today is July 23, 2020. I am in law enforcement and I purchased this flashlight for on duty work. I work out in the county where having a good light source is essential. This Streamlight has NEVER let me down. I keep it charged all the time and even with near constant use, directing traffic or performing everyday duties that require light, it has never once given out on me. I have had to run through fields and light up alley ways and this light always provides enough light to help keep me safe in dark environments. If I had to say something negative, it would NOT be the battery life, durability or brightness. I do think it is a little big to have to carry on a duty belt and it can run a little warm with constant use (Not intolerable). All in all, if you can get past those things or you are simply not using it in the same compacity I am, then you will get years of awesome and dependable use out of this flashlight. I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayI use this every night at work. I charge it every other day and I have not had any issues with the battery running low. I have also dropped it a few times and it keeps working. The lights bright and I specially like the strobe function to get the attention of people. Update: I bought this flashlight January 2013 and used it for work every night (primary flashlight as I had immediate access to another one). I’ve retired since (law enforcement) and today, March 2020, this flashlight still works perfectly fine. I’ve dropped it numerous times, (not recommended), it’s been soaked (working in heavy rain) and left in the charger for a month (when I was in vacation) and still works great! Today, I travel A LOT and it’s something I don’t leave home without. NOTE: I did have to replace the battery as it stopped holding a charge after 6 years.

> 3 dayI used to sell stream lights and know their quality. I started buying these once I started my business. Unfortunately there appears to be a very common problem of this model not shutting off and cycling through the brightness’s. I just returned an employees light for repair and now I’m returning mine for a second time! I googled this and appears to be a common issue. Come on stream light! All this money for an outdated nicad battery and you can’t get this right? I use my light in normal everyday conditions and it is in great condition otherwise. I would not buy this model, it is outdated and this problem seems too common based on internet searches. Really disappointed!

Greater than one weekPerfect for law enforcement. Battery lasts about 2, 12 hour shifts with using consistently through out the night. Would reccomend getting a smaller light for your vest when you dont want a clunky flashlight all the time. Over all, worth the money.

> 3 dayI live in the country on a ranch and if there’s something outside that I want to look out for a distance away this is your flashlight. This is white law enforcement officers use.

> 3 dayI just bought several flashlights and headlights for this hunting season. This is the light I choose to install in my truck. It is bright, but not the brightest cost wise. It also comes with a dated 12 hour charger. Any flashlight in this price range should come with an updated fast charger. The biggest selling point for me is the design of the switch. So many of these flashlights require you to click, click, click until you get the power you want. Not something you want to be doing at night when a Cougar is following you down a mountain. This flashlight goes to bright on the first click. Just hold the button down and it will go through the power phase of medium and low. Click the button more then once quickly and you go to strobe. I really like this setup. Like any Streamlight, it is solid as a rock. You do not hear the battery flopping around, like many others do. If it would have come with a faster charger, I would have given it five stars. I am going to buy another one for my other vehicle as soon as I can afford it. Someone was using their head when they built this one.
